My gun is messed up. Semi auto. Took a shot at 200 yards at a doe last night. Missed. Went to shoot again, next round didn’t chamber. Messed with it, got the next round in, went to shoot, nothing. Had to drop the clip, eject the round, reload bullet into the clip, put the clip back in and chamber. Dumb thing was still standing there. Dropped her. Need a new gun with a much better scope
I had a pistol that had a burr that prevented a round from properly seating. It could be the clip. You may just think about trying to replace it before buying unless you're trying to convince your wife to let you. Then buy the gun, fix your current gun and have two.

A few things about the "path to the championship" that gets brought up occasionally.

1) Any Coach worth their salt shouldn't be scared about what path is the easiest to a championship.

2) With the playoff set to change/expand in the coming years, a good coach at a top-12/16 job will always have a path to the championship.

Highlighted a key word.

If you say Clip one more time we are not friends anymore. Lol

Also, sounds like you have an issue with your extractor/bolt carrier group. If it is not grabbing the round. It could also be a magazine issue.

You can just buy a new extractor/bolt carrier group. Also, take your magazine apart and make sure your spring is okay. Sometimes they may be gunked up or rusted. I suggest a P Mag they work very well.

If Stoops leaves, UK should snatch up Mullen. I'm surprised that VT hasn't given Mullen serious consideration. Either of those schools would do very well to hire Mullen.

What makes Mullen bad for major programs is what makes him great for mid-level programs - he isn't crazy about recruiting the blue chips, but can scout, recruit, and develop "his guys." He still stole blue chips from Ole Miss every now and then when he was at State (like Simmons). The KY/OH and VA/MD/NC areas are full of those guys.

It’s silly really and I like bourbon as much as anyone. I drink it neat not like those losers who must add ice.

A lot of it is just echo chamber nonsense. Time to chase the next big thing because someone else is also. I find the price to flavor ratio lacking in most cases. At least there are a lot of great cheap options like Old Forrester.
It definitely was a gentleman's hobby/drink for a long time. Pretty similar to cigar culture. Then marketing blew it up, way way up.

That might be true but it doesn't really help establish USC as a better job than LSU or Florida.

LSU has everything aligned to make their football program great, and they want to be great.
USC got their terrible AD out of the way, but they still have work to do to get their school and program aligned top to bottom, from leadership down, to make that program great again.

Mullen to Kentucky and beats Florida in Gainesville next year.

Never bought a vortex scope, but we use their binoculars and their rangefinder in archery tournaments. Products are top quality and service is as well. To my knowledge they are the only company with lifetime warranty on rangefinders. Most only warrantee for a year because of the electronics
I have a vortex on my Daniel Defense. I love it.

On 98 dropbacks. 30% of the time. Only 40 of the 98 times did he attempt a pass.

Of the remaining 58 dropbacks, he was sacked 36 times. So I suppose he got away the other 22 times.

Not too surprisingly, but some of those are coverage sacks too I'd bet - his average TTT was 3.6 seconds on pressured dropbacks. On non-pressure dropbacks, he only took 2.2 seconds to throw.

Now on to the good stuff - of his 40 attempts under pressure, he completed 20 for a whopping 457 yards (11.4 YPA 👀) 6 TDs and 0 INTs.

In short (on the downside) and why HH could maybe use another year:

When HH was pressured (30% of the time) he was sacked at a rate of 37%. That seems pretty high. That's taking a sack about every 9 dropbacks...

Bryce Young (mentioned in the post and yes, probably a better overall runner) was pressured even more often - 34% of the time, but only took a sack 16% of those times.

Fwiw Dobbs also had a 16% under pressure sack rate. I don't think it's unreasonable for HH to aspire to a goal such as this. It would improve the offense that much more (even, say, making throwaways, rather than taking sacks) and improve his stock.

Which is why he needs to come back. Some of the time he does not make his reads well and is still learning the scheme. Heup has more O to give him when he’s ready. We have seen only a fraction of what this O can do.

Really? Because easier path to success comes up as a factor - maybe the number one factor - in almost every discussion about which college football program is better job.

Lol 😂 I hate you.

Lololol 2028 class. That website cited is hilarious. QBhitlist.com. They have "QBs" "rated" all the way into the 2030 class...4th graders 😄🤭😭

My 13-month-old son really likes rolling around his UT orange football on the floor. Sometimes he even tries to throw it.

I've got him penciled in as the No. 1 QB for the class of 2038, and although it's early, I'd consider him a Vols lean at this point.

How can you hate a face like this?

There are multiple paths to success, though.

Is it recruiting fertile ground?
Is it your own school/leadership are enabling the program?
Resources/money?
Is it your conference?
