Even I said 7-5 was possible, but I sure as hell didn't expect it. I will not detract from the miraculous coaching job these guys did by saying they did what they "should" have done.I called 7-5 and was promptly told my expectations were too high.
The woman made teams that were phenomenal when no one else did! Don’t take away her greatness just because no one else was great.I hate to say it but was Pat really that special? She won at least half of her championships(if not more)when her biggest competition was Old Dominion and Louisiana Tech.I will give her due diligence in that she is the main reason women’s basketball is what it is today.
One of two things: either your blue font isn't working; or, you woke up and said, "Today...I'm going to make one of the five dumbest comments on the face of the planet."I hate to say it but was Pat really that special? She won at least half of her championships(if not more)when her biggest competition was Old Dominion and Louisiana Tech.I will give her due diligence in that she is the main reason women’s basketball is what it is today.
I said 5-8. 5 if there were a lot of injuries and no QB developed. 8 if we managed to stay healthy and everything went our way. We didn’t stay healthy and everything didn’t go our way, but we really got 8. Phenomenal job by this staff. Anyone moaning are toddlers pitching a fit because they didn’t get what they wanted, and they have no ability to analyze a situation.Even I said 7-5 was possible, but I sure as hell didn't expect it. In actuality they went 9-3 in my mind, they were completely ripped off by crooked officiating against Ol Piss and Pitt.
That Bama win completely kept their season from falling apart. There were rumblings that a lot of their draft pick players were going to shut it down if they lost that game, and they had a ton of recruits on their OV’s that night. Definitely changed perception for them for a while, but you have to wonder if recruits that aren’t already paid for will re-evaluate where that program is in year 4 after last night. If a bunch of their players check out and they go to the Alamo Bowl, there’s a good chance we both end up 8-5.First 48 games at A&M
Sumlin 34 wins
Fisher 34 wins
Road ranked wins
Sumlin 5
Fisher 0
Ranked wins total
Sumlin 9
Fisher 7
Salary in that span
Fisher 30M
Sumlin 13M
But these kids keep falling for it yikes
If he hadn’t beat Bama then he’s sitting here 7-5 like us except he has twice the talent on his roster and it’s not even debatable while we have 65 scholarship kids available and a first yr coach. The difference in the level of coaching performance here between the two is massive. Shout out to Heup!
if you gave researching her due diligence then you wouldn’t have asked this question.I hate to say it but was Pat really that special? She won at least half of her championships(if not more)when her biggest competition was Old Dominion and Louisiana Tech.I will give her due diligence in that she is the main reason women’s basketball is what it is today.
No but I have been seeing some posts on here about Kelly Harper in a negative manner. It seems like some don’t want to give her a chance when she is coaching at a time when there is so much more competition. Her team is undefeated so far. That’s about all I have to say.I wasn’t one of the ones on here dogging Kelly just a few weeks ago.One of two things: either your blue font isn't working; or, you woke up and said, "Today...I'm going to make one of the five dumbest comments on the face of the planet."
I would've said dumbest, but I'm sure a few democrats are speaking somewhere.
Additionally,After what I was just told, I take my initial response back.
He’s been 100% healthy for the last couple weeks and chose to sit out the rivalry game vs USF.
DO.NOT.WANT
Dobbs' final season (before the bowl game): 12 games
202 of 319 (63.3%), 2655 yards, 26 TDs, 12 INTs
139 rushes, 713 yards, 9 TDs
Hooker's season (before the bowl game): 11 games
180 of 261 (69%), 2567 yards, 26 TDs, 3 INTs
147 rushes, 560 yards, 5 TDs
As a fan, I definitely hope we get another year from Hooker. Like Small said "imagine what you can do in year 2"

Looking at it, yeah he ****ed our prediction up, but he did the same with MSST and Arkansas, and the other way with LSU, A&M, and Florida. But he nailed Kentucky, Mizzou, Auburn, and Vandy, so basically he put a lot of stock into a COVID year and was as lazy as most CFB pundits tend to be. I mean, it's still **** him, but he's just one of many who should be laughed at. I'd love to see what Dennis Dodd predicted as he's another lazy dumbass.
Neither was I; however, what people were/are saying about Kellie Harper, and you saying Pat Summitt wasn't special, are two totally different things. No but I have been seeing some posts on here about Kelly Harper in a negative manner. It seems like some don’t want to give her a chance when she is coaching at a time when there is so much more competition. Her team is undefeated so far. That’s about all I have to say.I wasn’t one of the ones on here dogging Kelly just a few weeks ago.
