There is a lot more parity in today’s game than there was like say in the 90’s.Even Geno is losing his edge lately.

Women’s basketball would not be what it is today without PAT….. she is the GOAT!

Hendon Hooker has a passing efficiency rating of 182.2 this year. That is good for the 21st best passer efficiency rating ever in a season. His career passing efficiency rating of 170 is good for 12th all time.

No but I have been seeing some posts on here about Kelly Harper in a negative manner.It seems like some don’t want to give her a chance when she is coaching at a time when there is so much more competition.Her team is undefeated so far.That’s about all I have to say.I wasn’t one of the ones on here dogging Kelly just a few weeks ago.

Kellie was fired at NC State and a lot of fans weren’t happy with the hire…. Respect is earned which she is doing so far this year.

Neither was I; however, what people were/are saying about Kellie Harper, and you saying Pat Summitt wasn't special, are two totally different things.

Also, Summitt won 5 of her 8 National Championships from 1996 to 2008...what are you even talking about Old Dominion and La Tech?

Not really.Any coach now or in the future is going to be compared to Pat Summit and it’s not really fair.What coach at any school is winning championships at such a pace with the parity and competition in today’s game?

I hate to say it but was Pat really that special?She won at least half of her championships(if not more)when her biggest competition was Old Dominion and Louisiana Tech.I will give her due diligence in that she is the main reason women’s basketball is what it is today.

Keeps that trend going. They didn’t fire McElwain to hire Mullen (Chip Kelly was the prize and Scott Frost was plan B) and they didn’t fire Mullen to land Napier. Doesn’t effect how well he does the job, but they jump at the sign of failure. They characterize that as “not afraid to make necessary changes” but in reality it makes what should be an elite job a coaching microwave. Even nuked Urban. He started looking for an escape plan after 2 NCs in 4 years in Gainesville. Without his personally generated mess, he would have never left Columbus.

Look I am a Tennessee fan totally,in everything.I like to see the teams win in every sport. I don’t know anything about you but I have seen people on here talking about you steering football recruits away from Tennessee.I really don’t need someone that does that chiming in and bashing me.
