Ok dude. I’m talking about football. Solely implying that you go from an easy conference to a pressure cooker at UF. There’s been rumors he’s laid out how much control he needs and he’s been very picky about making a jump. I’m not talking about his personal life so stop making it that. I’m talking about him going to big time SEC football and how he’s not dealt with that and the expectations of that. Lose 2-3 games a year at UF and you’re going to get heat and some can’t handle it. There were rumors that he struggles some with people having negative opinions of him…..Butch was consumed with it…..Facing personal tragedies is much different than handling media/fan scrutiny…. We got to watch Mullen melt down week after week bc of it.

And Mullen knew exactly what kind of microscope he was going to be under at UF.

Napier could be great. Or he could be another failed Saban protege, and UF has already ran through two of those.

I'm glad we have our guy and we aren't tracking planes and waiting to see what MIT Beaver says.

We are a poor shooting team especially with Burrell out right now…… this is shown by the fact that we are just a 58% free throw shooting team….. No style of offense can overcome bad shooting…. Have you seen the defense and toughness she has instilled in the players…. They are absolutely shutting people down….The last two games…. We have seen Tess and Puckett take huge steps forward in shot making and Puckett looks like she may develop into a star. I’m not sold on Harper either but she is definitely getting the most out of the girls, imo.

Again, you can run sets to improve shot quality. We run few or any sets. Our low post play is for Key to post up on the low block and follow the ball around the perimeter. When they do dump it down she turns and tries to break the backboard.

Defense is 1/2 the game. Kudos if they're playing better. I had no interest in paying hard earned money for the PPV for that tournament so I'll have to take your word for it.

Sure, it’s a different animal. Florida is an extremely tough job. I’m just saying he’s had some tough blows in his personal life the last few years and bounced back and that’s a good sign if you’re a Florida fan. Shows he can handle adversity. Usually people that handle personal adversity well handle their adversity at their jobs well. Not sure how that is virtue signaling.

I hate to say it but was Pat really that special?She won at least half of her championships(if not more)when her biggest competition was Old Dominion and Louisiana Tech.I will give her due diligence in that she is the main reason women’s basketball is what it is today.

Old Dominion, Virginia, and LA Tech were good teams back then. This is like downplaying the 1998 season. Tennessee's SOS is what got us into the Championship game. We played a damn tough schedule but folks go back and say Syracuse or Arkansas discounting that those were great teams that year. Arkansas had a chance to win it all had they beaten us. And Syracuse had McNabb.

Why are we still talking about his personal life? Why are you ignoring the fact there are multiple rumors about him not handling criticism and him making demands of total control? We will see but that’s very Butch like if him.

Napier is a solid hire, but he’s not earth shattering. UF fans will get restless when his offense resembles McElwain and not explosive like Meyer or Spurrier. Excellent recruiter and he’ll get athletes in Gainesville. I think we have the better X’s and O’s coach in Heupel. UT has lacked that for nearly 2 decades.
