I’m pumped to see who we draw in a bowl game, but I’m dreading this offseason. I feel like a kid again - can’t wait for next year. This team has definitely brought the excitement back to Tennessee football. August 2022 can’t get here soon enough.

OL and DB my biggest concern for next year. If we can get a couple of guys in the secondary to step up, we can start bringing more pressure up front and cure some defensive woes. Would love a fix at all spots, but if we could even patch those up for next year I think we will like what we see

Not really.Any coach now or in the future is going to be compared to Pat Summit and it’s not really fair.What coach at any school is winning championships at such a pace with the parity and competition in today’s game?

The criticism of Harper has nothing to do with how many championships she has won or not...they are valid criticisms of the sloppy undisciplined way her teams exhibit for long stretches of games. That is where the negative comparison between them comes from.

Agree. OL should be first and foremost. DBs have been pretty bad outside of Theo and Alontae and both are gone… may have to score 45+ next year if nobody steps up. Need a pass rush bad.

By that measure, not sure Saban is that special. Feasted on the weakest Tennessee teams in living memory. If Tennessee had a pulse the last decade, how many titles would Saban have won?

Virginia Tech should hire him today

They need a recruiter. He and Fuente are similar in that aspect. VTech was last in the ACC in recruiting 2 years ago and 10th last year. They should be top half with their instate talent.

Spurrier was born in Florida but grew up here.

That said, Tennessee has produced a lot of HOF coaches. We owned the 90s and 00s. Tennessee, Texas and Michigan all had Tennessee coaches. And Florida* had Spurrier who grew up here.
