Yup. OU and Texas coming to the SEC is stupid for coaches that to win. Great for coaches that just want to make more $$$ while being punching bags.

Still gives you a better chance. You can build and be less beat up. Ie Dabo and Clemson never would have done what they did in the SEC.

The new SEC will just be a slaughterhouse of 6-6 to 8-4 teams. It's going to be absurd.

Current OU thread (fans talking) did list Heupel, but another poster said no to Heupel - because (just like some of them believe re: Riley) they need a "big boy football" coach Are they seriously stuck in 2010?

Almost EVERY SEC team has gone spread and away from old school smashmouth football. Even ole UK and UGA are finally adapting and spreading it out somewhat.

Do they really think the SEC is still ground and pound and defense?

Sallee is one that is pretty logical though. He didn’t care for Butch much, and I’m pretty sure he called out other media during Covid. I’ve heard radio interviews with him- very reasonable.
