They are going to give him a BAG and he doesn't have to indulge in the SEC recruiting and week to week wars. He had secretly been committed to LSU prior to this. Again just as when Kiffin did it USC is a coaches dream. Recruiting is easy and less required to bring in a top elite class because Cali has pretty much all you need.
I believe USC is at the top of the list of “easiest to recruit at”

Leach makes a ton of sense to OU imo. But Leach is a maniac and wants to be in the SEC. So don't see it. Unless he's cool with being in the Big 12 for a couple years. Then he will be right back in the SEC. So maybe

Mark Stoops is the obvious hire. So painfully obvious. Let's see if it's that simple.

But would Mark Stoops want to and be stuck in his brother's shadow.

And Bob basically still runs that program

Pac12 is ripe for picking (outside of Oregon) and Cali is loaded with QBs and skill players, however, they are majorly void of quality OL and that will continue to hold them back on a national level. Any knowledgeable SC or UCLA fan will tell you that with the Hispanic demographic surge in SoCal, there are little to no options instate on the line of scrimmage.

Look at the ‘23 class in Cali, not a single OL in top 25.

I honestly don’t think he can handle a job like that. I think Stoops knows his ceiling as a coach is at a place like UK, so he’s gonna stay there since they know their ceiling is similar, which is 9-3 or so.
