Wow why would he take that over lsu? Scared of SEC?

Seen it more and more the last couple of years, not just with TN. Think it's about some of the ridiculous expectations.
Conference title or NC, 1 bad year and gone.

Seems like some prefer the idea of a little job security, without the semi psychotic demands. Especially if they can still have a path, get talent and a fat paycheck.

Tennessee fans in the football forum freaking out about Heupel leaving for OU, meanwhile I’m sitting on my couch thinking about how all this turmoil is giving us a prime opportunity to poach some late 2022 recruits and raid the transfer portal for some studs that might not have been possible until today.

Lol at the football forum thinking this is going to hurt TN. We have a GREAT opportunity here to get a lot better, a lot quicker.

I think there’s a chance.. why wouldn’t there be? It would make a lot of sense for CJH to go to ou

Current AP top 6, have to think the CFP rankings will be similar...

1 Georgia
2 Michigan
3 Cincinnati
4 Alabama
5 Oklahoma State
6 Notre Dame

Going into Championship Week, a scenario:

Notre Dame has a bye
Oklahoma State beats Baylor
Michigan beats Iowa
Cincinnati beats Houston
Alabama beats Georgia

Who's in?

Yeah, I feel like Heupel really doesn’t see OU as a “dream job” anymore. Especially after how they let him go.

And OU moving to the SEC removes the biggest perk of that job (being top dog in conference). He’s been in Missouri & Florida and now Tennessee, he’s got established recruiting roots in the southeast and he’s in a great place with an AD he has a great relationship with.

Oklahoma has 3 top 50 guys committed from the same So Cal high school in the 2023 class… (which that alone is sketchy on what was going on with recruiting at OU), but they’re going to lose all those guys as they follow Lincoln. Their 2023 class is about to be in shambles and it was off to such a hot start
