Anyone spent any actual time on USC's campus?
I haven't so it's an honest question. But that city was a dump when I was there almost three years ago, and USC is in the middle of it. I haven't heard a single person exactly make the claim its gotten better since then. I know a guy who just graduated with his masters from there and say he isn't going back.
There's dozens of schools with beach access. And the majority of those won't charge you 13% state tax in your NIL money or have homeless people actively participate in Spring practice. I don't know. I don't get the prestige of USC, mainly because I don't understand the fascination with LA at all as someone who used to have to go there regularly.
