Yeah everyone on that line had struggles at some point. Can’t just list a bunch of names and feel comfortable. “Average” players with an extra year of experience means they are just slightly above average.

Imo we need another starter caliber transfer or two. Good thing is I feel like our depth will be much better bc everyone had playing time.

I mean 1 of those guys did have a dang good season

Just got off the phone with Jihaad Campbell, and he spoke with Swinney directly on the phone about the de-commitment. He's home in New Jersey (not at IMG), so he was not at IMG today when Swinney stopped by.

Campbell said he bascically told Swinney he was interested in exploring his options, and Swinney said if he wanted to look around/visit elsewhere, he would have to de-commit.

Campbell decliend to name any schools in contention going forward, but reiterared he's signing next Wednesday.

I reported earlier in the week that A&M was a school interested in Campbell, and the interest was potentially mutual.

I did some digging into it back when it happened, and it's far more common than people were presenting it. Most examples of it happen it has small impact, a pitcher who suddenly can't hit the plate. A golfer that can't get his putting right. A tennis player faulting over and over and over.

Again in those sports it's going to cause you some issues, but it's not much risk for serious injury. Now imagine vaulting 12 feet into the air and trying to twist/flip and land on your feet again...you could break your neck pretty easily if things go crazy.

Her biggest issue is the fever and a back ache.

Hopefully not too high. Just watch that. My youngest had a really high fever for a day and then it went away. But if it had remained longer, we were close to going to Urgent Care.

I respect it. It's not really a commitment if they are looking around. One of my biggest pet peeves is when a kid say "recruitment still open" and are committed somewhere.

As I said in my update on Tuesday night, Lane Kiffin is very interested in the Oregon Duck and has made it known through back channels. The question that I said on Tuesday and remains today is how interested is Oregon in Kiffin? Wednesday night there was a tweet by John Canzano of the Oregonian that said Kiffin is not a candidate at this time for the Ducks. It's an interesting decision by Oregon to not have him near the top of the list, but if the major players are not interested, it doesn't matter how serious Kiffin is about heading west to Eugene and coaching the Ducks. I trust Canzano's reporting on this, so for now, Duck fan shouldn't get their hopes up too much for Kiffin.
