Lost a 30x50 building. Sucks

So sorry to hear that. Alarms started going off here in my area just NW of Lebanon about 3:50 am and been up ever since. Looks like at first glance looking out my back door I see some patio chairs blown over and some vinyl soffit blown out from my covered back porch. Also just heard on tv there is damage at MT. Juliet elementary.

Yea it looks like I’m going to be searching for some old Toy tractors and some patio furniture today.

It also looks like the 9 days of vacation I was going to lose are going to be used before the end of the year.

Yeah, it's not going to be a pretty site come sunrise. Have family in N W Tenn that had severe damage but alive. Hoping middle Tn(78 mph wind gust reported at BNA. ) and eastward are staying alert. This storm is not done yet unfortunately!

Weather is very very strange in Knoxville right now. Nothing like what's happened, but you can feel how a storm could develop from it.

Wind blowing and it feels warm, a split second later, it changes directions and air temp drops 5-10 degrees. Wicked.

The high is in the 60s today. Tomorrow the high will be in the 40s.

She laughed and thought it was hysterical.

That is so crazy! Man, days like this remind me that weather can be so weird! How can a metal building get blasted and a tarp remain untouched? I'm no meteorologist, but that's got to be some pretty focused wind!

I'm really hoping we continue the Peay/Mu**ay games when we leave for the A-Sun next year.
That basketball rivalry is as good as it gets with pure hatred on both sides. It's equal in hatred up there with the big boy rivalries.

Question for those with more experience in recruiting changes:
Do you see any way when all the dust settles from this ridiculous coaching carousel that we end up near a top 10 class?

I enjoy this forum specifically because most of you have watched this for a while and have a pretty good sense of probability when it comes to how recruiting cycles normally tend to work out. I know this is not a "normal" year. But, I'd love to hear some guesses at if we keep climbing or if we level off and finish near 15 or so. (Which I'm not at all disappointed in!)

If the numbers at 247 are correct, we have 19 commits and are sitting at the #16 class. 25 is the max, right? Is that flexible with the transfer stuff that's changed recently?

I guess I'm wondering what our max number of more recruits are, and how we expect that to impact our final standings...

I'm sure there is a way that people get in touch with recruits for NIL, but it is absolutely not discussed openly by any UT employees that matter. They have a program set up to help student athletes with NIL advice, but outside of that, it's kinda taboo to talk about.

Spyre probably talked to Zach and they probably talk to a lot of recruits that want to know about NIL and what they do is lay out how there are opportunities in Knoxville and explain the benefits of being a student athlete in Tennessee and how that can help you with NiL deals during school and also having that VFL network after school.

The “free Gus’ chicken” thing is really annoying to me and insulting to the people that put the work in, because that comes from them discussing the show with AP on Tuesdays as just an example of ways kids can grow their brand and exposure with the fanbase. Which a lot of places don’t have.
