I'm not being a jerk to you, but we will see how you feel when we are relegated to the bottom of the SEC recruiting rankings.
Don't blame the coaches like a lot of our fans are...they are bringing a knife to a gunfight.
You will know things have changed if/when we start landing truly high profile athletes from the portal and from HS.
The data is available already for wind speed (305mph) and width (1 mile). The track has to be confirmed, but it's likely to be the first tornado to hit 4 states and early inspection hasn't yet shown that it lifted. The official survey usually just confirms the data and evidence already available, and unless there's an issue with some of the instruments or they find evidence it lifted, then it'll stick.
The state is reporting that the outbreak is the worst in Kentucky history. The Mayfield one alone may top 100 deaths.
Yo, I'm a meteorologist... The National Weather Service has to officially confirm the track and the damage indicators which will give the wind speed. This tornado is definitely one for the record books. I am just saying we have to wait for some more information to come in before saying it is the longest tracked tornado of all time.
My wife and I spent 3 hrs, at the doc office this morning. Got tested for flu and it was negative and both of us tested negative for covid. Found out you still have some symptoms after covid. My lungs were totally clear as is my wife's. There is a possibility for me and my wife to have those fever's again we just don't know. If I do get a fever just stay away from people for 24 hrs. My wife still has a cough so they gave her a steroid shot and an antibody shot. They also gave her a Z-pac and antibody meds to take daily. Thank you all for your help it just freaked me out after so many days to get a fever like that and I didn't know what to think. So thanks again VOLnation now back to recruiting. GB0!!

No worries. You are right. So, I do not work in broadcast meteorology. I work as a research meteorologist for a company here in Huntsville. I mainly work in missile defense, but I like to keep up with current weather events as much as possible and forecast for them. My main area of expertise is radar meteorology, so I was watching that tornado for around 5 hours last night. The only other time I have seen a storm like that was the April 27th, 2011 outbreak.1) That's super cool. I love meteorology.
2) Yes, I jumped the gun coming right out and saying it was. But in my last statement I also agreed it had to be confirmed by the NWS first.
Incredible storm either way. Where area do you service?
