I believe they are leaning toward something along the line of requiring a player to live in Knox County or surrounding area for a majority of the year for the NIL to be compensated.
I'm not sure if anyone has talked about that angle, but it's probably gonna be a part of most big NILs as a way to remain separated from the university and protection from the player going somewhere else.Interesting. Hadn't thought of that angle.
Would love to be able to read Quinn Ewers NIL deal from OSU. If it was backed by a booster(most likely) and not a national company(doubtful) then they got raked bad. Hate that for them. Lol!

Believe he also had one with a local car dealership in Columbus as well. The major Ewers deals were not from OSU. His deals are from a autograph/memorabilia dealer out of California and a beverage company from Texas.

Why would someone pay that kind of money for a no name high-school kid?I'm sure he had one with Ricart, but the seven figure deals everyone continues to associate with OSU boosters aren't a thing.
Which is part of the reason he had no strings to cut here in deciding to transfer home. Reason this kid reclassified to begin with was to cash in on his NIL money.
I can help you find Waffle Houses in Baton Rouge, and I even have boxing gloves, swords, mattress to burn, just let me know your brawling preferences.Guys, the Tennessee game weekend trip has been decided for 2022, I believe. Any one else planning on going yet?

In regards to Quinn Ewers, he grew up a Texas fan, he finessed OSU out of a couple of mil and then went to his dream school. Cant say id blame him, he only wasted his redshirt year. If I was a highly touted qb I would spend my first year/redshirt year at clemson/osu/bama to get that nil money and then transfer right back to Tennessee
