Other than the orange and white there isn’t much better looking than that maize and blue. Don’t @ me. Love the Maize out from the fans too

I think Bailey is the best Passer on our team. We saw him in the spring, saw him as a true freshman a little bit last year (without much practice), have been reminded a number of times he’s the 4th leading high school passer of all time for the state of Georgia while playing in the highest classification, won the state championship his senior year, won various rivals camp competitions leading to a 5-star rating, so what’s the problem?

Nick suggests he’s a bust in college.

I don’t think that but I think there’s got to be something going on. All I’ve ever heard is that Bailey is a hard worker.

I suspect that the reason could be that without Milton or Hooker we might not have a running game against a good defensive front. In week 1 we faced the worst rushing defense in all of college football last year. That wasn’t the case today.

Maybe Bailey can open up some running lanes by stretching the field vertically and unloading the box. I don’t know. I don’t expect Bailey is going to be able to carry the running game with his legs and right now that would be a problem.

The offense Heupel is running can work with either Milton or Hooker, theoretically. I don’t think it can work with Bailey, in the absence of a running game. Heupel will have to modify his approach to the game if Bailey is his QB, sort of like Mullen had to adjust from Franks to Trask, and even then we have no guarantees.

I think with our depleted talent and our offense, we need a running quarterback and that's most likely why Bailey is third string. Also, fans aren't showing up as much because we have been disappointed so much that we need a reason to invest. That said, I really like our head coach. The game was fun to watch today, even though we lost. I never felt we were out of it, or our guys were giving up. Edit: ChattaTNVol and I are on the same wavelength.

Let's be honest about something -- our WRs have loads of potential but right now they aren't very good. That's another reason a QB with wheels is a good idea.

Don’t let it. Why should it crush your weekend? You’ve said all along we’d struggle to get to 6 wins. This is what you expected.
Yes and I stand by that, but any close loss stings. So so many would've should've could've moments. Aghhh I just want to feel the joy of winning a meaningful game again

Can see why Coach was anxious to get Calloway back.

I also understand why they said coaches weren't impressed with the WR room. They are green. Hyatt will be a star but he's going through things. The other are talented but inexperienced. They will grow but we're gonna suffer growing pains with them.

Hyatt. Yeah. A work in progress.

Here’s what I’m sick of. Constantly having a multi-year rebuild because we keep firing coaches and hiring new coaches with polar opposite schemes/philosophies than the last guy. So every coach automatically comes in and has players who doesn’t fit what they want to do so we have to have yet ANOTHER rebuild. The next time we hire someone, and I honestly hope that’s a long time from now, can we please stop hiring polar opposite head coaches. Because recruiting struggles and kids transfer out which kills our depth and makes us lose games like this which we could have won.

And for f*cks sake, someone tell Heup that we HAVE to blow out the Bowling Greens and Tennessee Techs and the cupcakes so we can play the young kids and get them experience instead of playing teams led by WR’s for a QB and playing our starters for the whole game. That crap is the reason we don’t have quality depth
