One thing that I’ve not seen mentioned and I’m not sure why: (Maybe I missed it) Hooker overthrew more bombs tonight than Milton did in his first two starts. Milton took a lot of grief. For Hooker, chalk it up as a “bad” night.
Hooker has proven he can do it…. Milton hasn’t proven he can yet although I feel like he will be better when he gets his next chance…. No one is at their best all the time.

I am not commenting about his season. He had a great year and an awful game. His fumble before half completely flipped the game. He missed at least 3 easy touchdowns by terrible accuracy and almost didn’t complete the touchdown to Tillman because he underthrew the pass. He underthrew Hyatt that would have been a touchdown. He should have had a colossal game and it would have never came down to the bad call. I think he’s a good QB. I think he’s a good fit in the offense. I think he’s gonna have a really good season next year. If he plays up to his standard today, we absolutely smoke Purdue.

Ya know, statistically & objectively today was his best game overall all season.

Highest completions: 26
Most Passing Yards: 378
Most Passing TDs: 5
Lowest INTs: 0

Hooker & offense did more than enough, expecting a QB to play a perfect game is ridiculous.

That guy holding Wright's shoulders didn't effect the play.
I agree, but I think technically it was still a penalty. Grasping and trying to pull him isn't allowed, even if you do it terribly.

Still have no idea why Wright waited so long to extend the ball. It's like he had his eyes closed.

The difference shouldn't have to be pointed out...Milton never played a good game...Hooker has a big stack of them.

Even though he was off, he still had a whale of a game, just not as big as he could have had.

Just not as accurate as he normally is, but a QB throwing for 63% and over 350 with 5 TDs should not get so much blame in a loss.

Well he could have gone all Pig Howard but not sure that would have helped. Probably wanted to maintain ball security.

I’m still all in with Heup in case anyone was wondering. This garbage game will have no impact on our momentum
Heupel’s gotta fix his in game coaching gaffes. I’m all in as well. But end of 4th quarter was bad. Really bad. Not to mention continuing to go to OT with multiple timeouts

How many redzone sacks did we take this year. It seemed like it was happening more than it should have.

O was inconsistent but good enough. D was terrible at all levels. Officiating was awful top to bottom, from spots to reviews to that abysmal call at the goal line. Should have won, but how many times have I said that…..

I watched the head official on one play in the 4th quarter (and hadn’t paid attention before), and he was at least 15 yards behind the LOS and off to the side. He couldn’t see a holding that far if he was even looking for it. I don’t believe the head official threw one flag, and back judge? threw roughly 12 of them.

What got me was the one offensive holding called on us with 4 minutes left when we scored. After all of Purdue’s edge runs…

I agree to a point..but the stats don't tell the whole story here. He could have easily had one of those legendary 600yrd-7TD kind of games if he was as accurate as he has been.
