We have a huge window next year for sure. Injuries on one hand, or unexpected contributions on the other could have us from 6-10+ wins. I truly believe that if we can somehow avoid significant injuries, and somehow put a solid defense out there next year that ten regular season wins is possible plus a bowl win.Tillman also got over 1,000 yards.
And we broke the all-time scoring record. After having one of our worst modern offenses last year.
We put up 666 yards and 45 points.
Lots of silver linings imo. Don't have 150 yards in penalties, OR a missed pass interference in the last minute, OR the awful miss at the end...and this is a completely different discussion today about a tough, resilient team.
I won't let any of that keep from me from high expectations for next year. I still fully think we should win 7 next season, with a good shot at 8 (regular season). 6 wins and 9 wins on the outer distribution edges.
Dang brother...sorry you're going through this. Will certainly be praying.Funny you should ask… I’m back at the ER. When I left I told the doctor and nurse that my a** was hurting and they just said it’s hemorrhoids and keep it clean. Had my wife check it and it’s the size of a golf ball and I’m back at the ER. They fast tracked me so I think they know they screwed up. But may be looking at another surgery today. 2021!!!
Forward progress isn’t reviewable. Because the play is dead upon the ruling of forward progress. What is especially mind-boggling to me is that everyone seemed to think that a forward progress call was not reviewable (including the officiating crew on the field and in the booth last night), when it actually is very reviewable. It is called out as a reviewable play. How an entire officiating crew cannot know that is beyond comprehension.
He and Turnage both being out was the straw that broke our already weak defenses back. Knowing how much Alontae loves his team, you have to think he regrets not being there for them for the rest of his days...especially if his pro career never goes anywhere. If we had Alontae last night, we win that game.
I would still enjoy the Bama tears. It would almost be worth it.I hate to admit it, but I want Bama to win this game just for further insurance that UGA does not win a National championship. Bama getting knocked off their high horse wouldn’t be worth a higher likelihood of intolerable UGA smugness.
If you think the DL is not well coached..then..I just hope that Verse or any other players on the D side of the ball that is in the portal and watched the game and think they dont want no part of this D . It was hard to watch them leaving WRs wide open and not getting any push and players out of position. I know it shows we need players but they do not look well coached on that side of the ball.
