How many games do we win if we just have Bennett, Ty, Gray, Toots, Crouch, Johnson/Wanya and Lawrence. We may have won 10 games with just those guys still on the team.
Valkenburg is a diff maker.Real talk, if we just have the LBs back we win another 2 games. (Bennett, Henry, Crouch) you can't tell me having them on the team doesn't turn the losses to Ole Miss, Pitt, and Purdue into wins? Bennett left as our leading pass rusher (despite only playing 7 games). Henry T lead the team in tackles & Crouch was 3rd.
I guess we’ll just have to disagree on this. I think UK, Arky, and ATM are ranked appropriately. UK didn’t beat anyone of note out of conference, ATM squeaked out a 3 point win over a 4-8 Colorado team, and Arky’s biggest OOC win was today against an unranked Penn State team. Not sure what they’ve done to make you think they are top 10 teams. If every team played an equal strength of schedule you would put ATM in there, perhaps even Arky and Kentucky. Who's so much better? This year for sure we have 4 possibly 5 of the top 10 teams.
You're not lying. You can't tell me that Toots and Banks wouldn't have defended the QB run better than Beasley and Page. And dang it, we needed a pass rusher. Bennett could get after the QB and Crouch was a good player for MSU this year.Real talk, if we just have the LBs back we win another 2 games. 7-6 and these are the contributors we lost...I hope Banks & company can get some talent/depth back and we see them with closer to a full deck to play with next season.
Kivon Bennett
Deandre Johnson
Ty Chandler
Shawn Shamburger
Wanya Morris
Jahmir Johnson
Quavaris Crouch
Eric Gray
Henry To'o To'o
Key Lawrence

And imagine having Gray/Chandler for the 2nd half of the Pitt game instead of 170 lb true freshman Wright the entire second half. Imagine having them 2 for the final series of overtime instead of trying to run Wright on 4th and goal.
For some reason, when the announcers were talking about how great Mark Stoops and KY are, they forgot to mention he lost to Tennessee. Must have been an oversight on their part.
