Rattler had a better supporting cast at OK but they think he'll improve with lesser surrounding talent at S Car? Sound logic!

I think Rattler will be good, tbh. He's got motivation after losing out so publicly. I wish it weren't so but I don't see how he isn't an immediate improvement given they had no one.

Am I not allowed to have an opinion? Just because I have no confidence in his abilities do I just need to stfu? I've backed my stance up with facts. No one can dispute them, all that anyone can do is make excuses.
We have poor talent and depth, and our D played a hundred snaps a game. There’s no magic wand for that.

He struggled, maybe a change of scenery will help him but I still don't think he's a top 4 or 5 SEC QB next year.

I like Tim Banks but I’m going to need him to do better. Second half of the season did not do what is required . Needs better pieces to work with obviously as well

I agree with you but I don't know how he does better unless we hit some big wins in the portal or have some surprises in camp. Other than Jeremy Banks who do we have coming back on defense that can really be a game changer?

There is a magic wand, it's called getting off the field. It's called gambling on defense. If they're going to score anyway why not gamble? Maybe you cause a turnover. If they score anyway at least they haven't played 50 plays by the end of the first quarter. Quit blaming these kids for everything. Maybe the lack of talent is at the DC position.

When you are a high scoring team you expect other teams to pass against you heavily. To counter this you need very good corners and pass rushers. We are mediocre at best. That must change.
It's just the opposite. If you're playing a high-scoring team you want to run the ball and run the clock, to keep the ball away from them.

Well you have Young, the guy from State, KJ and Hooker all returning but outside of Hooker the East is wide open. Florida's QB will likely be good whenever he returns from injury but he's still relatively new. Rattler was rated so highly this year because of what he'd done the year prior. I don't think he's going to be a Heisman contender but anything is an upgrade for SC and I do think he will at least be competent.

We need better innovation at that position. Made no sense why we didn’t pressure. Wish we could find the next young stud at the DC position.

I’m with you

It’s hard to judge any of these coaches given they didn’t recruit the roster they were coaching

I don’t think we will know much about them for another 2-3 years

Unless they get ahead of you quickly, like we do. Obviously that would be the game plan going into the game but as they say all good plans change as soon as you're hit in the mouth.

And look who responded to that tweet. What an idiot troll. Not even good at hiding it.

Also, he doesn’t even get it right. Play wasn’t blown dead with Fant pulling, it was blown dead way after the fact.

Why would pulling a player in be illegal when pushing a player isn't? I've seen the offense push players in the in for a TD that was allowed.
