Normally when you talk of "buying" players it's in relation to 5*s. I like our class and the players we got, but I'm not sure how you're really countering the "we suck at NIL" argument? I mean, Walter Nolen was in our own backyard and got away. Apparently, we couldn't compete with A&M's buying power. And damn, what a spending spree they had. The truth seems to be we're not great at it, but we're also not the worst. If we want to move up the ranks, we have to get better. It's one thing to watch A&M, Bama, and Georgia outsell us, but to also see Kentucky, Mizzou, and Auburn do it? Tennessee has to find a way to compete in cash flow when it comes to recruiting IF we want to climb back to the top. Or we can just be content being a mid-tier SEC team. Kentucky, Mizzou, and Auburn could still very easily implode, but Bama, Georgia, and A&M are not going to stop slinging that cash. So do we want to be in that upper tier with them or not? If we do, then big boosters need to step up their game.
NIL played a major role in every single one of the guys I mentioned singing. We don’t suck at NIL. People just need to realize where our program is and be realistic about who we could’ve signed this year.
We weren’t going to buy the Nolen’s multiple houses and make a huge payroll class this year.
When Nico is in the 2023 class, tell me how bad the NIL here is.
It would work. I said early on that you could set up a charity, take donations, hire a football player as your spokesperson, pay him 49% - operating expenses, donate 51% to a charity. I think as long as 51% goes to charity it's eligible for 501c3 status but I could be wrong. How much do we need VN? $10 per fan per year? We could be like the Packers...a public NIL
I hope we get Nico I think he's really good. But I have a hard time seeing him leave the WCNIL played a major role in every single one of the guys I mentioned singing. We don’t suck at NIL. People just need to realize where our program is and be realistic about who we could’ve signed this year.

I've not familiarized with the 2023 class yet. Who is Nico and what's he rated?NIL played a major role in every single one of the guys I mentioned singing. We don’t suck at NIL. People just need to realize where our program is and be realistic about who we could’ve signed this year.

Also, I came down in the middle. We don't suck at it, but there's room for lots of improvement.NIL played a major role in every single one of the guys I mentioned singing. We don’t suck at NIL. People just need to realize where our program is and be realistic about who we could’ve signed this year.

And one more thing, if we weren't going to "make a huge payroll class this year", then it seems to me you're admitting we're behind the other programs in relation to NIL.NIL played a major role in every single one of the guys I mentioned singing.
