Tennessee has to find a way to compete in cash flow when it comes to recruiting IF we want to climb back to the top. Or we can just be content being a mid-tier SEC team. Kentucky, Mizzou, and Auburn could still very easily implode, but Bama, Georgia, and A&M are not going to stop slinging that cash. So do we want to be in that upper tier with them or not? If we do, then big boosters need to step up their game.

NIL played a major role in every single one of the guys I mentioned singing. We don’t suck at NIL. People just need to realize where our program is and be realistic about who we could’ve signed this year.

We weren’t going to buy the Nolen’s multiple houses and make a huge payroll class this year.

When Nico is in the 2023 class, tell me how bad the NIL here is.

You seem really plugged in on that side. You've also seemed to be quite positive with the constant negativity with NIL. Bring those good nugs when they drop. I thought NIL was the reason Pearce decided to sign early.

It would work. I said early on that you could set up a charity, take donations, hire a football player as your spokesperson, pay him 49% - operating expenses, donate 51% to a charity. I think as long as 51% goes to charity it's eligible for 501c3 status but I could be wrong.

I hope we get Nico I think he's really good. But I have a hard time seeing him leave the WC

Also, I came down in the middle. We don't suck at it, but there's room for lots of improvement.

And one more thing, if we weren't going to "make a huge payroll class this year", then it seems to me you're admitting we're behind the other programs in relation to NIL.

Not at all, but the players have to be there to give money to. Top 22 kids just weren’t very interested in Tennessee to start with. Hard for this staff to have the relationships with 2022 kids that other schools did given everything that’s gone on plus all the negative recruiting from other programs.
