Y’all think Hooker has a big game problem? Struggled against Florida. Struggled early against Ole Miss. was awful against Ga. Struggled in the bowl game too.

Yes. He became less accurate as the competition ramped up and pulled it down to run first instead of getting mobile to find an open receiver.

It is something he can overcome simply by it being his second year in the scheme/system and by the staff opening up the playbook more so other teams cannot key on the core plays they used so often this past season. Learn the scheme more and be the man.

I personally think that’s more of the talent around him. Hooker isn’t phenomenal but he gets the system going efficiently. But against those teams you listed our surrounding talent with Hooker seems to destruct. Offensive line… receivers at times. Running backs not breaking tackles for huge gains… it’s all a combination

It didn’t help that we couldn’t run the ball against Bama and Ga. But he really played bad against ga. Missed wide open receivers a lot. His interception, he just overthrew the receiver by 10 yards unforced.

I'm not attacking or defending CRB, but watching this team, I don't feel we're playing up to our talent level. Whether or not that's on the coaches or the players, I'll let others debate that, but I do think we're more talented than we play.

We’re 100% more talented than we’re preforming and that’s what makes it even more frustrating. Same as last season.

If Neyor is the baller we hope he is things should go well. Tillman is the best receiver in the league next year. So he’ll have better weapons if Neyor is a baller. OL needs to get better

Purdue didn’t have a good defense. Ole Miss wasn’t great either. Certainly Ga and Bama. But that doesn’t explain him missing more than other games. Against KY, SC, and Mizzou he couldn’t miss

Don't most teams do poorly in the first season in a new system/new coach? The biggest improvements are usually between year one and two, right? We'll be fine.

The real question is if the D got off the field a bit more and the O possessed the ball more what could his stats look like… Prolly closer to video game numbers.

Purdue: 26/41 for 378 5 TDs 0 INTs 59 YDs Rushing
UGA: 24/37 for 244 1 TD 1 INT 7 YDs Rushing
Bama: 19/28 for 282 3 TDs 1 INT 27 YDs Rushing
Ole Miss: 17/26 for 233 1 TD 0 INTs 108 YDs Rushing
A lot of people harp on what he missed but if you watch many of those plays he can’t step into his throw because lineman are getting pushed into him. Particularly at Right Tackle. I felt he played well in each of those games. If all supporting cast members played as well at their position as he did we win 2 minimum and likely one more of those 4 games…

I'm not convinced the OL improves. We lost our best one, and I'm not sure we have enough depth. Adding Mincey was nice, but we probably need one more from the portal, and I'm not sure we have the numbers since they also want a RB and we absolutely need some defense.

24/37 244 1-1 65% against the best defense in the nation is not awful. 13/23 221 2 TDs 0 INTs against UF is not really struggling. Game sealing INT against Bama? What was the final score in the Bama game again? Does he have a big game problem? Highly doubt it. Those better teams absolutely abused our OL. I think after getting hit a ton he got shaky.

I give a rip about both. Beat Florida someway, somehow and then we'll see about being competitive in the East. I want Hendon to be a Heisman finalist, the defense be better by at least 20 spots nationally, and play on January 1.

If you think the Bama and UGA defense didn’t explain him missing more than other games, then I question your IQ.
Florida played Bama within 3 the week before so they were still good when we played them
