Buddy, I engaged in the conversation all night last night after I posted it. You're about 18 hours late. There's no reason to go into it again today. I don't want to see @Ulysees E. McGill or your head explode. It's okay.

Hooker is the perfect QB. No criticisms of his play are allowed.

You know by now if you throw stuff out on a message board that you are going to get disagreements. Sounds to me both sides got defensive by your last statement.

If only more people would listen to me and do what I say. I could turn this bus around real quick.
You can be President.
Make me your Surgeon General, then get the Eff outta my way cause it will be brutal.
Imagine healthcare where insurance and pharmaceutical companies cannot alter policies. 🤠

Yeah, they need a Smokey for $19.51 a mo....I'm in then !
Honestly, I think that’s a great idea! Not everyone can afford $2k a year to help buy recruits, but if 10000 people can give basically $20 a month and have some access to a few of the privileges they offer, then that’s $200k a month, which is $2.4M a year. that would buy a couple of elite recruits every year.

Whatever. If sarcasm was in there it should have been blue font. Sounded like someone got into a big disagreement and had gotten defensive himself. lol

cant believe they didn’t include something like that honestly.

Why can't be be somewhere in the middle Bass? He came out of nowhere to help us have a winning record in Coach Hypes first year. So he struggled against two team that are fighting it out to be the Champs of college football. Against Mizz he hadn't played in a month. Its not a strange thing to not be as sharp. Not sure what's up with all the ragging on Hooker. My hope is he learns from those big games but he is going to be our QB next season unless someone does better which they haven't.
It's also questionable how poorly he played in those games.

UGA? Sure. #1 defense in the last decade. Still wasn't awful - 24/37 for 244. 6.6 ypa and 125 qbr 1 td/1 int. That was his worst all season. Understandable.

***caveat*** ONLY Alabama had a better QBR vs UGA all season. Some Heisman winner...

Vs Bama and Purdue? He had 181 QBRs...8 TD/1 Int lolol. Kid averaged over 10 YPA vs Bama. Who last did that?! 9.2 ypa vs Purdue...5 tds/0 int lol. Did he miss a few at times? Sure, but he nailed many more. Selective memory (Q2) iyam.

Pitt was his first real experience and he had a 168 qbr. The pick sucked, but one of only THREE all season. Bad timing, but man how picky can we get?!

Of course. That's the point of the question. Wanted discussion. But some people just cannot handle criticisms of the QB. It's weird.

You have perfectly normal reactions like these:

I personally think that’s more of the talent around him. Hooker isn’t phenomenal but he gets the system going efficiently. But against those teams you listed our surrounding talent with Hooker seems to destruct. Offensive line… receivers at times. Running backs not breaking tackles for huge gains… it’s all a combination

Not yet. But it's possible. This year will tell.

Yes. He became less accurate as the competition ramped up and pulled it down to run first instead of getting mobile to find an open receiver.

It is something he can overcome simply by it being his second year in the scheme/system and by the staff opening up the playbook more so other teams cannot key on the core plays they used so often this past season. Learn the scheme more and be the man.

to name a few. And then you have people losing their minds like these

We just had a QB give us one of the best seasons in Tennessee history...and you dumbasses are bitching at him. He wasn't supposed to be that good to start with, he was a Virginia Teck reject.

Every QB has bad stretches.

You may have a touch of bipolar.

Thank you. Toss him out of here.

Seriously Bass - take it elsewhere. Tonight you liked the Rick Barnes - Mark Richt comparison, and then this nonsense? Come on. Don’t be that guy.

Do you not think the latter completely overreacted to a simple question meant to bring discussion? I mean good grief

Anyone can do so. You just won't get benefits though. Probably not viable when they're doing 90/10 split. Increasing the user base many times over, but with the lowest profitability folks.

But I do think a recurring option would be smart.

The difference in your argument is the organization (the college) can't pay the players whereas the Titans organization legally can.
Of course the colleges can pay the players. I was a university employee all four years I was there. Here's one that will really blow your mind: They don't even HAVE to be students to be university employees, by law.

Now, the colleges don't have any incentive to dissolve the NCAA and allow that. Not while zealots I mean fans are willing to bank roll the whole thing for them. But I think we are well past the idea of all college athletes being University employees seeming unreasonable.

Reactions: Orange.
This is why I posted a while back that I'm glad he is coming back but hope someone else beats him out.

I hope the coaches actually allow someone the opportunity to beat him out. But I worry they will feel obligated to ride him out because we can win 8 games with him and he is coming back his final year when he could have gone to the NFL.
I know Milton initially started, but now that Heup knows how good Hooker is, I think it is unlikely for him to get beat out. Every position should be up for grabs. I will say if someone does actually beat him out, we are probably all going to be very happy with how that dude is playing.

No bro. Hooker is the greatest QB ever. He's never made a mistake. He is the perfect player.
Just asking how long this rant is going to last. I think you might have a point, but don't think it is as simple as he freezes up. I think it is harder to perform better against those teams. He definitely missed some throws he can make, but every QB does that. Overall, his numbers were not bad in any of those games, but he did leave points on the field. I think he will be fine, but you have to know that many here will not agree and will voice those opinions.

Oh yeah you going to get over reactions and I do really try to have a conversation about this even in disagreements. I missed most of the conversation you were referring to. When I saw your statement a moment ago thought something had happen to Bass. lol Somebody kidnapped you. lol I see what your saying and like I said I agree he struggled in some games. I just hope next year in those big games he can show some improvement.
