At lunch today, I was refilling my drink and looked up and I was standing next to Butch Jones. He was on the phone and stepped to a private place. Saw him again from a distance as he was leaving, but did not get to speak to him. I started to post at lunch and ask if anyone had any messages for him, but my wife vetoed that idea.
And no, I did not take any pictures.

Where we you eating?

Just asking how long this rant is going to last. I think you might have a point, but don't think it is as simple as he freezes up. I think it is harder to perform better against those teams. He definitely missed some throws he can make, but every QB does that. Overall, his numbers were not bad in any of those games, but he did leave points on the field. I think he will be fine, but you have to know that many here will not agree and will voice those opinions.
What happened is someone a day behind reading the thread just commented on a post from yesterday and inadvertently bumped the thing

I would ask him this : What do you think Alvin Kamara would of accomplished in college if he’d of had a real coach?

That’s cool. I never did understand everyone’s disdain for the guy.
I was going to talk to him if I had a chance. He gave us some good memories. The last year just blew up.
Living near Jonesboro, I have had an opportunity to meet a few of the coaches. Ran in to Blake Anderson a few times while he was here. I never met Trooper Taylor, but I always hoped to meet him while he was here.

did you ask him how any human being can stand to be around him?

Anyone can do so. You just won't get benefits though. Probably not viable when they're doing 90/10 split. Increasing the user base many times over, but with the lowest profitability folks.

But I do think a recurring option would be smart.
Why not give a few benefits, like recruiting updates or something small? I guarantee they could raise just as much money with a small option as they will be able to with these gigantic amounts. Seriously, who can really afford to give $24k a year to put towards buying recruits? Mainly the mid-tier to upper tier boosters who are already donating large amounts of money to TN.

You don’t understand disdain for a person who facilitated destruction of the football program then became Sabin’s coffee getter so he could collect $3M per year ?? Confirm your troll status

UT fired him.. or no? He got what he was owed (Buyout). Where he went after Tennessee fired him is irrelevant.

“Facilitated destruction”.. 😂 makes me laugh. There were MANY consecutive factors that led to Tennessee’s downfall. Good news.. it appears we’re headed back up with Josh Heupel.
