Not Me. I am willing to give the coaches time to improve. Heck the DL and LBs didn’t even have a position coach last year. Let that sink in. It takes more reps to break an ingrained bad habit than to instill a good one from the beginning. FYI, 1,000 correct reps to build a new Engram (instinct at the Cerebellar level) in comparison, at least 3,000 reps to remove a bad habit. Think of all the bad defensive habits pruitt instilled. That’s a f@“k ton of reps for the players…

I hurt all the time, but some days, it ramps up several notches. Today is one of those days. It's harder to laugh away the hurt on days like this.

Were you able to roll those 529 funds into an IRA?

Pretty sure that’s not an option without the penalties. We will use the 529 account money first for all college related expenses then access the IRA when the 529 is empty.
Just learned from our financial advisor that the easiest way to access the 529 is to give the bills to them and then they handle payments. If you take it out yourself, there’s all this governmental paperwork that is required…

I don’t feel good about it but I’ll be rooting hard for Alabama tonight.

I want to see Kirby fail. Again. With that ridiculously loaded roster.

And then I want to see a bunch of uga kids declare or portal out. All while the heat starts up under bowl cuts chair.

I’m not rooting for either, but I will relish the lamentations of whichever team earns “loser.” And I’m thinking I’ll have more joy seeing Georgia lose. Still just feels so out of place for this game to be Monday night.

Honestly looking back at his record, Coach K being hired at Duke at the time looks awful. He barely had over a .500 win percentage and had a losing season the year before he was hired at Duke. Talk about getting lucky in the crap shoot.

Also had losing seasons 2 of the first three years at Duke (and an overall losing record at Duke ) until he turned it around in year 4.

It's called staying with the guy who is recruiting well and showing promise. VOLS went through this with the football team-- Don't want to do it again with basketball. Going to the tourney is major-- many don't get that chance.

Wow, looking at the transfer portal of players who've committed to other schools--- tons of talent... plenty of guys that could have helped in areas of need...

Still waiting to see what the staff is going to do... Or I guess they think we're good with what we've got... a WR and OL isn't gonna move the needle...

The reason JJ was bound to find at least some success in the NFL, in spite of the odds being against him, is that he loves football as much if not more than anyone on the field in any given game.

You have to be careful in portal. A lot of kids in there for a reason that isn’t best to invite into locker room. I think staff is fully aware of their needs. Need a RT and go get FL projected starting RT. Need a WR to fill Payton’s role and they nailed it. Need a pass rush DL and they tried to land Verse. He made a dumb decision. It happens but staff isn’t sitting on their thumbs. A lot more should be available after spring like last year. We also are prioritizing multiple year eligibility due to roster. Everyone fighting over same players. Staff wanted Gibbs buy he was butthurt and already planning to go to Bama before he entered. Lot of kids know where they are going already.

Great point, I think this staff is being more selective with portal guys for that reason. It's just year 2 and ya can't bring in someone that's going to setback the culture you're establishing in the locker room.

I thought my little corner of the room had issues, I just visited the FF and there are just some things that can't be unseen. I had to double up on the SKITTLES but since venturing back here I feel somewhat more centered. You know sometimes you can relate to ........SQUIRREL !!!! What were we talking about ? As a dolphins fan, nothing surprises me anymore. Such a bad decision but hey, that’s what they do. Now they are going to go hire Jim Harbaugh and I’m gonna be even more annoyed.
