He throws short too like they did with Calloway. It’s all about numbers. It can be effective, but obviously the QB execution is important. I thought the scheming yesterday was great. Pitt plays mostly man in the secondary, so there were opportunities. It’s why we ran more against BG because they were dropping more and playing 2 deep safeties.

The run wasnt there as much as I thought it would be yesterday. I thought Pit's D would drop more than they did. They surprised me a little

Then show up to the games…. I have been going since 1990 and use to go to most road games before I got married….. I use to make fun of other stadiums bc they couldn’t compare to Neyland…. Now we are doing no better….. it’s embarrassing listening to Pitt fans talk about it being a Neyland takeover bc our fans didn’t show up.

Some of the Pitt fans in the Terrace were beyond obnoxious. There should *never* be opposing fans in the Terrace.

Meh I don’t see how it’s gifts from Pitt offense that had zero turnovers….. special teams gave us one blocked punt that counted.

Agreed, they got many more gifts from us than we have them.

No way we can redshirt Bailey. Not sure if Milton is hurt, but with our OL, Milton or Hooker or both will get hurt. We need to have HB ready to play.

We can and hopefully WILL be able to RS Bailey. We have 10 games left, and he can play in as many as 4 up to a certain point in the season.

I hope Hooker can just play well and continue to be the guy.

Not sure how that was the same one crap. We had dudes running open all day and rushing defense was outstanding.

What I watched yesterday was totally different than what I’ve watched in the 4 previous years.

HB is ready to play. He didn't ask for a RS. Coaches are developing all 3 QBs. None of them are where they need to be. They weren't in camp, they haven't been in practice and they're not on the field. We have 3 works in progress.

Greg Schiano is undefeated at Rutgers... I in no way wish he was our HC, but I think Vol fans need to take a small L on him. He's for sure a better coach than Pruitt.

A. Your first 2 statements are contradictory.

B. There’s no narrative I hate more than “It’s the fans’ fault.” Not just here, but anywhere.

They are not contradictory….. they have made bad hires in the past….doesn’t mean they weren’t trying to win

I never said that it is the fans fault…. Just that the fans need to do their part

To be great a university needs:
A: University support….. I feel we are getting that now…. We had allowed the education side too much control
B. A great administration: I feel we have that now with the hire of Danny White
C.A good coach/staff…..I feel we have a good staff/ undetermined on the head coach but feel he will make it fun/stabilize the program
D:City/Community support: unsure how it is right now
E: Fan support: it’s definitely lacking.

Vols fan said Schiano isn't who we want. We never said Pruitt was who we wanted.

The people who hired Schiano have been fired which is a win in the long run.

On the Milton/Hooker question. In my opinion it has to be Hooker. The stats don't lie, we don't move the ball with any semblance of consistency until Hooker came in. Hooker is limited but he's much more accurate.

With that said we have to develop a better o line.
