I don't blame fans for not coming to games, but unreasonable expectations from fans is destructive. Expecting a 3-7 Pruitt team decimated by defections to be great after 2 games is unreasonable. And yet here we are, with "fans" already talking about Heupel not being the guy. And yes, that does matter.

Yep. Fans want it all their way. Want results quickly and don’t want to “pay” for it.

I’m not blaming anyone for not going. A lot of variables- time, money, COVID, etc. But then the board is flooded with people out on a coach 2 games in. It’s what fans do, I guess.

Agreed. If Milton has a cannon, Hooker has a Red Ryder. That arm is not good haha

But if Milton overthrows everyone by 1/4 mile, that arm does us no good. Tough place to be for CJH
That one deep ball throw Hooker had, looked like he put everything into it and barely got that thing 40 something yards lol 😂

We need to be patient and let JH build….. if there wasn’t a Johnny majors building and stabilizing the program then the 90’s and especially 98 never would have happened.
Johnny was a proven coach with a NC on his resume, he earned patience from fans. JH has nothing in his resume that says I earned patience

Narduzzi went ultra conservative as well. If they kept letting Pickett throw the middle, etc they could’ve named the score. Our defense is still awful at pass defense
It’s our safeties. McCullough is a liability in pass coverage. The kid is never near the ball always 5yds off of a receiver and then always takes a bad angle to the ball…. He needs to be benched. He is a good blitzing safety but awful in pass.

I'm not sure how that's even possible...you're essentially crucifying Hooker for a single play if that's the case. Cause even if you remove the difference offense ya got one guy that's 16/22 72.7% 193 Yards 8.8 Y/A and 2 TDs/1 INT vs a guy that's 18/35 51.4% 190 yards 5.4 Y/A and 1 TD/0 INTs. So far it appears with Milton it's go long or go short only. They don't seem to trust him to throw anything else except deep balls in man or wide boundary screens in zone. To be the one thing ya don't want in a hurry up offense is incompletions, kills the clock and negates the entire advantage of the offense you're running.

Not one play- he was also careless with a fumble. I’ve said this repeatedly- this offense does not throw many midrange passes. It’s the offense, not the QB decisions.

I am just telling you what I see. Don’t have to agree. Hooker makes more nervous throwing the ball and dropping back.

Stoops built UK on bully ball, i actually usually chalk them up as an auto win, but not this year. Mizzou can go score for score with JH, but again has better defensive depth.
Both teams looked pretty much like last season to me…. Kentucky is still a running team but can pass slightly better…. Missouri has a decent QB but very poor defense.

70% guy turns it over more. That’s what my point was.
And completes the passes with more accuracy. Again you can work with a guy that turns the ball over as long as he can move the ball. Milton threw for 50 yards, Hooker gave us 188 and threw a pick but scored two touchdowns.

If you can make an argument as to why this offense is better under Milton moving forward using stats I want to see it.
