You got it brother, just prayed! Can y’all keep my father in your prayers. He went in for a kidney stone and they have found a mass (unrelated to the kidney stone) and he has an appointment to find out more information. I don’t know the location of the mass but am still freaked out about it (he decided not to tell me until an hour before his appointment this morning).
I have no idea how surrounding them with an army of coaches is supposed to help.Prime Time on the NIL!!!!!
"When you start paying athletes like they're professionals, you get athletes acting like they're professionals," Sanders said. "And you don't have staffs large enough and equipped enough to handle a young man with money. Let me go deeper. Handle a young man that's making more money than some of the coaches on staff."
"I suggest to you to allow college teams to hire more qualified men. Qualified. That can handle these young men that's getting this money," said Sanders.
Sanders said that smaller schools such as Jackson State can't compete with the amount of money Power 5 schools are paying.
"See, with the NIL, which really ain't NIL because it ain't no name, image, and likeness, it's just pay-per view right now," Sanders said. "That's what they're doing at the big boys, little boys we can't compete with that. But anyway, you've got a problem,"
Sanders said he brought attention to the issue because he's trying to help before the problem gets worse.
"I’m trying to help before it blows up in your face. Money Makes You More Of Who You Really Are. Now think about that for a minute," wrote Sanders on Twitter.
Gimme a break! Yeah because there has been SO MUCH balance in college football the last decade!Ahh, the irony.
Nick Saban quoted in an ESPN article (about NIL):
“If we don’t create that balance, I think it’s going to affect the competitive standard of the game in the future and probably even affect other sports. But so, hopefully somebody will be able to figure that out.”
Just golden. Saban is just like Calipari in that he is a manipulator, and his followers lap it up as the truth. It’s quite remarkable.
Thank you
Absolutely love history
Thank you, kids are staying home this time
I'll be out and about the whole time, hence asking for recommendations. Ain't no rain gonna hold me down!
Thank you
I’m not sure I do either. This has the feeling that the NCAA is going to bend us over AFTER we already bent ourself over. We are about to find just how good Danny White is. The penalties we chose to self-impose, as well as firing everyone attached to the scandal and making the players transfer, should be plenty of punishment. We are finding out that Saban and Kirby are very scared of Heupel and what Tennessee can become under him. They are trying their hardest to keep our program held down. PUT ON MORE STEAM!!not sure i like the timing on all of this with the NCAA. We find out our penalties right after UGA and Bama run to the NCAA for help slowing us down.

Yeah the NCAA needs to be inquiring Georgia and find out what they paid Mims to get his signature.I also found it interesting that when they were talking about the investigation, "someone close" to it was talking about, how could you penalize a school for giving someone $ 150,000.00 and then have them not go to that school and go somewhere else. In that situation what did the other school he did go to give him. It does make you think.

I've been saying it for years...................Just wait. Athletes WILL unionize down the road. He's exactly right and despite the fact that we appear to be doing well with things this part needs to be reined in. It won't hurt our recruiting to regulate that aspect of things. It could absolutely kill the sport if we don't. College football is about more than being a damn farm system for the NFL.
I could be wrong, but I don't foresee these trucks with all this new technology getting any cheaper. My trade is probably only going to decrease in value. Plus my credit union is offering 1.8% on 60/72 month loans through the end of June so I'm trying to take advantage of that. Think I'm leaning towards a Silverado LTZ at the moment but also looking at the Sierra Elevation and SLT trims.
Their own fanbases are in denial along with Clemson fans it’s hilariousNCAA needs to keep its hands off NIL and let the market regulate itself. I like how Huepel and co seem to be picky about it, and seem to be emphasizing certain character traits. That is smart. Programs that just throw fat stacks of cash at every 5 star mercenary that visits, are going to crash and burn when those guys constantly hold out for more and the boosters start demanding playing time for their investments. Let those programs burn, and it’ll regulate itself.
Also need more sources calling Saban and Smart out for hypocrisy. They’ve got the old system figured out and don’t want to lose their edge having to adjust to a new one. It’s so blatant, why would anyone pay attention to them on the matter?
