He's being recruited by Bama as well, so what are they offering?

That’s a good question. From a football perspective, playing your one year with the Heisman QB seems like a no-brainer compared to a talented but unproven redshirt freshman. From an NIL perspective, I’m pretty sure they don’t have a Lamborghini dealership in Tuscaloosa.

I use xe.com for current exchange rates.
Thanks, that looks great for current exchange rates. But I am looking for currencies exceptionally low against the dollar in historical terms. (In other words, 2022 travel deals.) I know the Euro is down, but I think there may be others down more.

@Devo182 is talking interest rates. Do you know?

Speaking of Bama and Clemson, from a connected poster on another board:

Bama:
-This landscape is not attractive to Saban and he's not going to wind up with an outright competitive advantage against the market when it comes to money and recruiting, which he's had for 15 years. The dude is getting old. There's a shot that this is his big run and when he wins it all again, he's out.

-Bama was the perfect choice for the Mannings. Archie Manning views Bama as a no brainer. Rumor is that Saban would not give assurances that he'll still be coaching Bama in 2025.

Clemson:

-There's a legitimate shot that Swinney is lost at this point. Head up his a$$ level naïve about NIL and the portal. There are a lot of people around the sport wondering what in the [heck] Clemson is doing, because they're mostly acting like this is still 2015.

Saban almost certainly has 1 more title in him. He might ride out into the sunset after another.

If you go to investing.com, they have forex rates, I believe currencies are under Markets at the top. If you want to see a long term chart, click on the pair of interest and you can look at various chart types. For longer term views, I like to use the "Interactive Chart" option because you can choose a one month interval and drag the cursor along the bottom of the chart to increase the time line.

Can y’all keep my father in your prayers. He went in for a kidney stone and they have found a mass (unrelated to the kidney stone) and he has an appointment to find out more information. I don’t know the location of the mass but am still freaked out about it (he decided not to tell me until an hour before his appointment this morning).

Prayers sent

I think what he's saying is that a lot of places you're giving young guys a ton of money with no one to help them. It's like handing someone who has never held a gun before a loaded weapon without telling them anything about it. IOW, disaster incoming unless that's remedied.
It's their money. To do well with or blow it.

The NCAA doesn't need to play parent any more than YouTube should have to teach their teenage millionaires what to do with their money.

Mo money, mo problems. At least UT has an entire curriculum on the subject. These kids will be more business savvy than actual business majors that lack real world experience.

Probably...
