I’m more irked by the fact that I was sitting up there by myself during our lean years but now I couldn’t go to a regional bc of all the people excited by us winning…. I feel like if you pay for and attend every game then selling those tickets is a perk bc you were there all year long.
Yup. I remember going to those games you could sit anywhere you want. They'd be lucky to draw a crowd of 100. Now you have to take out a small mortgage to be able to attend. It's nice to have a good team but the price gouging sucks.

Who wants some more "ESPN is a joke" material???

Scouting Arch Manning, Malachi Nelson and the top 2023 QB recruits

Five-stars Arch Manning, Malachi Nelson and Dante Moore headline the quarterbacks in college football's 2023 recruiting class. The three pocket passers form as talented a top three as we have seen in years.

However, the 17 quarterbacks in the ESPN 300 mark the fewest since ESPN expanded its recruiting rankings from 150 players to 300 in 2016.

This class may not be as deep as in recent years, particularly at the dual-threat position, however there are still several hidden gems and high-upside developmental players that could make a statement throughout their college careers. We break down the top quarterbacks in the 2023 class and which ones you need to keep an eye on.

Top 3 pro-style QB:
Arch Manning
Malachi Nelson
Dante Moore

then they drop this jewel:

Cusp of being a five-star
No. 4 QB-PP Nicholaus Iamaleava
Long Beach Poly High School (California)
ESPN 300 ranking: No. 13 overall (four stars)
Committed to: Tennessee

Believe it or not, Iamaleava threw for 33 touchdowns in 2021 to just one interception. He's a gifted passer that hasn't even come close to scratching the surface of what he could become -- just wait until he adds bulk and strength to his frame.

He can be raw with his loose, whip-like delivery and has room to hone and refine his skill set through coaching and offseason work, which will enhance his accuracy. He needs to get into the mid to high 60% range as a senior.

Scouting report: Great height and lanky build. Rare length. Will fill out and get bigger and stronger. Raw player with talent. Shows flashes of James Blackman at Florida State. Loose, long release. Can polish up and tighten his delivery. Lacks great arm power. Touch passer, however, can muster up some zip when he needs it, and his arm talent should grow as he gets into the weight room.

Player comparison: Hendon Hooker, Tennessee

Saw your post and called them. They’re working on them. Packing them all by hand currently. Moving soon to a system that will automate the process so hopefully future sign ups get them quickly.

I was told to tell they are so sorry and working on it!”
Thanks Bruce! I was not upset by any means 😂, just glad we can finally donate to our beloved VOLS!

Honestly, to me, it is simply **** your buddy. I remember many years ago I was friends with a season ticket holder in basketball and he would always sell his Kentucky tickets to Kentucky fans because they would pay a good deal for them. He used that money to basically pay for his season tickets. Thing is, he was grandfathered in and had inherited the tickets and sold them to Kentucky fans. I had an issue with that also.
I don’t like that either.

I love Hendon and I'm not crowning Nico as a better QB than him yet....but that comparison is atrocious. They aren't really similar players. At all.
He’s WAY better than James Blackman…even if he never attempts a pass. 😒
they're just lazy. no other way to describe it.

the whole organization, everything about their articles, their shows, even the way that they call the games on the network, are designed to be lightning rods for engagement. otherwise, they just mail it in.

This is old news at this point but the championship game was the 5th largest attendance in the history of the SEC at Hoover. I was at the game and there had to be only about 200 Florida fans and the rest were in Orange and White. It was an amazing environment and UT is definitely starving for a champion. This team is amazing to watch and so talented.
Quick question, what are the players doing when they squat and cover their face after an extra base hit?
Idk what exactly they are doing. I've wondered the same thing. I figured someone here, who knows, would've told us by now. Maybe it's a super-secret taunt that only Fight Club members know.

How do you know, have you watched Nico live in game yet?

I'm not saying they are similar either...but generally asking. I would say Hendo gets next to ZERO credit for how accurate he is though. So that part seems a bit confusing to me.

My 52" HD TV a few feet from me is the best ticket I could have

I do enjoy going to live sporting events, but the way ticket scalping works and the only experience you get seems to be drunk idiots and a sunburn it's hard to want to attend. I do try to make a few basketball games.
The almost spiritual energy of being there when something amazing happens is something you can NEVER have at home...that is really what you pay for. It is a high that watching on TV can not supply.

Remind me to send you some SKITTLE TV enhancers. They won't make the show better but.....you won't care.

Anyone want to give a listen? Odd. I think it's telling he wants to interact directly with the fans. Clearly doesn't trust the Auburn PR team or the media, for good reason. But I don't see how any good can come of this for him. If it's three hours a week of coaching cliches, no one is gonna give a **** about it, and the fans will say that's three hours more a week he could be fixing a floundering recruiting class. And if he starts dropping bombshells, the AD is going to expedite his trip to the door faster than they already are. Seems like a lose-lose. Harsin's only path to sticking around is to win 9-10 games this year, and this won't help do that.

Listened to the first episode at work. Half reminiscing about the good ole days with Chris Peterson, half just clichéd life advice for coaches. He seems like a decent enough dude, but I'm probably less convinced that he's cut out for a major program than I was before.

If I had the money and the time I would be there. I'm not going to act like I like it better watching on TV because it's easier because I don't.

I mostly dislike crowds and people, so I'm not acting. Basketball is probably the only exception, but football I prefer watching on TV completely. But I totally get why people enjoy being at the games in person, and I also enjoy it just don't know that I'd ever make it an every weekend thing.
