Niiiiice. I use a torch like this but a much smaller scale.
I had a butane torch that I would hit a couple of these up with

Got tired of buying the tumbleweeds and just got to torching.

😂

This is my exact set up right now. Usually light those up and then just fan it for a bit. Mostly use my Joe for smoking instead of grilling so I like the slower build up in temp to get that 200ish temp.

Alright Vol Nation, I need some serious help.

I have a terrible neighbor. She used to harass me a bunch and then I built a privacy fence. But she still didn't get the clue and ended up cutting down some trees on my side of the property line the other week. I filed a report and I'm taking her to court for the $1600 in damages she caused (according to my arborist) and filing a no-contact order. She probably does have legit mental illness. Once told me the Wi-Fi was stealing her dreams and some other crazy things before I built the fence.

But every time I'm in the yard she just stands at her window or on her deck and stares at me. Real creepily. Last night all I could see is her silhouette behind her blinds as I was throwing the ball for my dog, but it was eerie as hell!
I have a 1/3 of an acre, a nice fire pit I built and a deck and can't seem to enjoy any of it.

I need something I can put on my side of the fence that will block her view from her window into my yard. Needs to be 9 ft tall and I don't have time for a smaller bush to grow up.

Immediate thoughts are some sort of mature hedging, or some sort of lattice that I could affix to the top of my fence to block her view but not sure how stable that would be or what options.

Y'all got any practical solutions?
I have the same type of neighbor. I just wave and go about my business. Try to be as nice as possible. Maybe she thinks you're a hotty.

They can only give out what we put in.

Not directed at you necessarily, but anyone reading, anyone that knows friends/family that love the Vols. We have to take it up a notch if we want the program to take it up a notch. Simple as that.

I understand the landscape of sports now but with that being said, it's a shame. I have never donated to ANY school. I never attended college or had a dorm named after me.

In 1979 I did sit in the MIDDLE of the ALABAMA student section in Birmingham, next to Major Ogilvie's girlfriend, dressed in ALL my ORANGE, so that alone should count for something.

I think it is sad that the state of everything has changed so drastically so fast. I've tried to go to as many games as I could afford before TV, now just when we go to the mountains or they come to Nashville. I'm just your average Vols fan....like most of our and every other fan base, just average people. I have always fancied myself as a Vols fan.........just not an investor.

Go to the Bait Shop. Buy all the crickets they have. Wait until she leaves the house and turn the crickets loose under her house or in her roof vents.

Bag up your Dogs Crap. Put it in a Bag and Light it on Fire. Set on her porch and ring the doorbell. Run home

also Barry has some ideas he learned in the military:

Sneak into her house, take a picture of her sleeping and write on the picture that someone is watching you

Replace her dog with a slightly different dog

Replace her furniture with larger versions so she thinks she is shrinking

You don't have to invest to be a fan. To your point, so many have given so much outside of funds. Support is support.

The extra layer is this:

Adding resources (money) to the mix to entice top talent, to build a better roster, to field a better team, to win more games, would certainly improve my mood as a fan. Fans love a successful team. We have a path forward to influence that success through NIL.

TN needs a win. A big win. Seldon would be huge if we can hold off Penn State and his visit with them this weekend.
really so frustrating with an organization as hell bent on parity as NCAA pretends to be, that allow Bama to dictate NIL.

Absolutely pathetic. Sport is pathetic bc there is NO parity. Rich get richer.

Completely.

'Really loved your school, they were my number 1 until Nick Saban whined, now im going to go to the exacr school
everyone had me pegged to from get go.'

'Things wont change, bc, footbaw tradition.'
That's not what happened.

He visited us a few times, loved what we had to offer. Loved what we put together. So convincing in fact, that everyone around the program and his own family felt confident in Tennessee's chances.

Then Ohio State's head coach, of all people, comes out and demands more NIL resources, or their standing as an elite program would be in jeopardy.

A few weeks later they put themselves in a better position and won out. That's the game. We played it and almost won.

Next time we have to be harder to turn down.
