I don't think I ever laid the blame on the S&C coaches. As far as I remember, they were all professionals with good resumes and demonstrated ability.

It wasn't just a freak month or year. Those happen. High injury rates seemed to be a constant with Jones starting every August 1. I think his novel "techniques" and practice methods may have contributed too. IIRC, there was one year when they had a rash of injuries in August that were non-contact.... guys just running across the field and having injuries.

If your point is about PRACTICES? That I’ll recuse myself from any disagreement. I don’t believe for a second that Butch interjected himself into the weight/training room under Lawson’s watch. Could buy it after the player involved mutiny that installed Szerszen.

KK basically said that he let a few star players run the team( Sutton, Reeves-Maybin, and Kamara) and they evidently didn't like the workout regiment and got Lawson fired.
