agreed. and there's zero context given on who this staff wants/ doesn't want.

it's a simple narrative to push about the instate recruits, and that only matters as to how much value you put in to that vs. the rest of the country.

I guess the ol' saying should be changed to "curiosity killed the Vols fan"? With how the media is I refuse to click on articles like that.

I asked this question on the board a while back. Still happens. I think it is just a normal reflex just like when someone sees an article that is positive about UT. We want to celebrate/destroy it together with other Vol fans.

I don't mind the celebration. I don't read articles at all for the most part but the ones that are meant to incite fans into clicking just piss me off.

I'm so over click bait, misleading headline junk.

Well I won't stand for that. I read the article a couple of times to make sure I could pull out some quotes correctly. Sent it to some friends and family to read and get their reaction. Then I blasted the article link all over social media and added some stinging commentary. That will teach him to write that click bait crap!

It's strange. Several of these coaches have terrific recruiting resumes.
