Jordan developed probably the best fade away jumper of all time and had a way better post up game. Their 3 point shooting was pretty much the same Jordan took less of them and instead developed an insane midrange game.

So you're telling me Lebron doesn't have a dominant post up game? Do you watch basketball? Lebron in these playoffs alone has already had about 7 or 8 highlight reel fade away jumpers as well.

Yer bringing up Ron Harper. hahaha. He came to the bulls maybe a little past his prime at 31 years old and in 5 seasons put up such gaudy numbers as 8 points 3 rebs and 2 assists per game. He never even made an all star team when he was in his prime.

You don’t average like 20/5/5 on multiple playoff teams by being anything but a good player. He went from being a primary option to 3-4 at best. What do you expect his numbers to do?

I'm saying Michael had a way better post up game. lebron has worked on it and is better. But he doesn't have many post moves and they're all pretty basic. Kobe also had a better post game than lebron. I never understood why lebron didn't work on it more and use it more. He could be dominant in the post but doesn't seem to like it down there. Jordan and Kobe had fully developed post games with multiple moves and shots in the post.

Lebron's post up game is pretty dominant. You'll see it develop more and more over the next couple of years as his athleticism fades.

He made the playoffs 4 times in 10 years before joining the bulls. Only one of those times was it on a good playoff team. His 3rd year on the 88-89 cavs was a good team. He was probably the 3rd or 4th best player on that team. And they were beat by?

It’s really the only live sport worth talking about going on right now. I mean we could talk about golf or how the Braves are the best team in the NL too but playoffs generally provoke more discussion than May baseball games

I wasn't there, so I'm not sure what he said last night... but Trey has been cleared to work out with the team and has been doing voluntary workouts with other players for several weeks. Technically, they're not all that voluntary-- players who intend to be on the field next fall are "encouraged" to take advantage of the new weight room every day.

All the players who sat out the spring are expected to be ready to go this fall, including Trey. With the new guys coming in and expecting to contribute, it won't be the same team we saw this spring.

Fitz can still have contact during this period right?

I believe both only made one all star appearance. I'll go Cartwright because people forget how good he was early with the Knicks. By the time he got to the Bulls he was pretty broken down physically. Horace was a solid player but probably overvalued. Reliable role player. 10-12 points per game 7-9 rebs. Only averaged over 10 rebs twice in his career, for a guy who everybody seems to remember as this great rebounder that seems pretty low. Imagine if the bulls didn't trade away Oakley. Horace would've never started there.

NHL has been good. preds being out now kinda drops off the talk in Tennessee. but there's a game 7 coming up between Washington and Tampa that should be really good. very physical series, especially game 6.

and Vegas, 1st year as a franchise makes it to the cup final.....

and Golf has been ok.

past that, we're fast approaching the dead time. i'll catch the NBA during the finals.

Brian Randolph was on the sports animal yesterday morning (he is bad but anything is better than Heather)anyway he was talking about spring ball and how the prevailing thought among players is that it is a complete waste of time. I think a lot of guys don't take it all that seriously so yes especially with all the new guys and guys coming back from injury this team will look a LOT different come August.
