Correct. He played last year at 215 and Chandler played at 195.

Now Chandler is also younger than Kamara so I think he can get to that 210-215 threshold in the next couple years (already up over 200). That’s plenty durable like you’re saying. You don’t need 230lb monsters in the SEC, but they are nice to have in the stable.

Ok i see what you’re saying now

Let’s not forget that we should have used Kamara as the main back all along 😉 and Kamara and Chandler were/are roughly the same size (in college)

They are not the same person though.

Chandler is good though very fast good burst. Jordan is just as good might even be more of a bruiser/tackle shedder.

It’s hard to appease everyone with scheduling but I think we can all agree that drawing Bama every year isn’t a fair path to the SEC championship game. Why not play 8 conference games but only count the record against east opponents to qualify for SEC championship?

You keep Rivals while placing additional emphasis and tension on division games. The two west games still count as OOC games and could hurt status to BCS playoffs.

I like this proposal because it eliminates scheduling bias.

Guy pointed out on VQ that the team with the most rushing yards and second most yards overall against Bama last year was actually Colorado State. The OC and OL coach for them of course was Will Friend. Makes me excited about what he’ll bring here as OL coach and running game coordinator

Pruitt talked about Friend during SEC media days. Said that last year at Bama only two teams were able to rush the ball effectively on his defense and one was Colorado State.

Yeah with his power running scheme and Helton's passing offense he learned from Brohm and his brother and a little bit of Joe O's downfield RPO sprinkled in I think we will put up a lot more points than people expect.

I would guess a guy like Banks only plays in the 4 games allowed to keep a redshirt. He’s good enough to get some burn but they’d like to get an extra year if possible.

Apparently Urban requested Zach smith find a new place this past offseason and had him interview several places. Nobody would take him aka they did their background check probably and didn't like what they found. So he definitely knew about both charges despite his claim that he only knew about the 2009 one

Urban continues to solidify his D-bag status.

We need to take risks on offense this year imo. No reason to play conservative. Let’s play to win and be aggressive imo

kinda contradictory to Pruitt's overall philosophy of...each offensive possession needs to end in a kick...punt or FG/PAT.

he's going to place a lot of emphasis on ball security, and if either of our QB's doesn't prove they can do that, and be smart in the passing game, it could be pretty conservative.

edit: that doesn't mean we won't go after or make big plays....they're going to try to be balanced.

I just don't think we have the ability to play conservative and score enough points to win. We need to take some shots imo.

but florida has a basketball player on their shoes and unis what football player could resist that?

they will take shots. we have skill out side and size at TE.

i just don't anticipate them being overly aggressive in the passing game, or with trick plays etc....

I think conditions of each game are going to dictate how our offense plays.

If Pruitt can be conservative and score he will. If he has to go for shots he will. He will do whatever he has to do to win.

He won't just play one style the entire season.

I think you'll see quite the opposite. I think this will be a lot of pounding the rock then test the favorable matchups down the field. Run the clock and keep your defense off the field.
