Don't agree when you look at where we would be if JG transferred next year, they can read the tea leaves and even though Chryst might would win us a game or two more this year it doesn't amount to what JG will get us next year if he is here.

This is the stupidest argument you have ever made. Winning helps recruiting. Recruiting helps winning. To suggest otherwise because you can't get past your JG bias is short-sighted and really insulting to our coaching staff.

Been saying this all year! The "transfer" stat is the one JG is winning against KC and it why he's starting. JMO

EDIT: And I'm saying this not as a JG hater. I think all you have to do is look at the roster to understand that if JG and KC are even remotely close JG is going to get the nod for this reason.

If he thought JG would transfer if he didn't play him, guess what Pruitt would do. He would let him go.

The subtext is UT fans shouldn't be disappointed with losing a game the Vols weren't favored to win, that beating SCAR would have been a large upset and the fan reaction to losing the game is over-the-top. I agree that judging our staff on one loss is over-the-top... but I haven't heard or seen anybody make the claim that this staff isn't right for the job because of this loss. If you don't see that, fair enough.

Can you imagine crap storm this site would have if KC played in the next game and outplayed JG? I don't think Pruitt is gonna let that happen. I really don't see why KC came here. The deck was stacked against him from day one. If he won the starting job, JG may have transferred and we would have been screwed next year. Pruitt had to put him in the Alabama game and he really looked good. It's just all speculation now because KC is not gonna get any meaningful snaps unless JG gets hurt.

Pruitt does not give a rat's ass how much of a crap storm anything causes on any message board.

Update for those interested on my dad.

He's had a really good day. He slept really well last night. His mood has been much improved as has his breathing. He walked quite a bit today. He and I went for a walk and we got lost and it turned into a longer walk than we had planned. He worked with PT on the best ways to get up and down out of bed and a chair. He's been eating well. Dr. Said he was good to go home today but with having to deal with my mom, he thought it best he stay one more night. Thanks again to all of you for your thoughts and prayers.

Sounds like he's doing really well. It's great to hear that his breathing is better and he's ready to go home. A Big Orange W on Saturday will be just what the doctor ordered.
