What’s his % beyond ten yards. He almost threw 40 times and hand 200 yards
FTR, that's 43% past 20 yards. Not sure about career but this is right before Scar game. 43% isn’t great, about average View attachment 173977
It was definitely the best game Helton has called so far. Interesting how working the short passing game and changing up 1st down playcalling can help out a struggling OL. Almost magical, perhapsIyam, it played to our strengths better than any gameplan I have seen at UT since Lane Kiffin specifically schemed the offense for Crompton.

Been saying this all year! The "transfer" stat is the one JG is winning against KC and it why he's starting. JMO
EDIT: And I'm saying this not as a JG hater. I think all you have to do is look at the roster to understand that if JG and KC are even remotely close JG is going to get the nod for this reason.
Why would you hear anything about a redshirt?I feel that McBride will transfer, nothing against the kid but there just isn't a place for him in this offense going forward. I'm still curious about Shrout, early word on him was he had a rocket arm but I haven't hear anything since Camp. I would love to see him get some playing time against Charlotte.
Georgia game. We had I think 3. Maybe WVU too but Ik for sure UgaIllegal substitution penalties. We had 2-3 last night.
Think we've had at least 1-2 of these every game.
Also recall we got called for illegal formation a few times on the punt team in the WVU game but seems to be corrected.
Growing pains.
It shouldn't have been a surprise win at all. We beat Auburn OTR and Auburn is probably a better team than SCAR, which had been struggling. We should have won that game, even with the egregious calls and no-calls. I don't see why so many UT fans want to tiptoe around being mad at a loss. We should be mad as hell, the players should be mad as hell and the coaches should be mad as hell about blowing a lead and finding a way to lose. Get mad, then channel that anger into action. None of which says anything about firing anybody or putting blame on any one position group.

Austin Price alluded to McBride being a candidate to look elsewhere after the year (because he apparently didn't make the trip to Columbia)..
Also said Shrout still needs to grow in the offense (duh) and Maurer is lighting up the scoreboard against middle-tier competition in HS. There's still some possibility we chase the QB transfer market, but don't look so hard at Jalen Hurts.
Just paraphrasing from the Sunday show he does with Troy and Swain
You're wrong in my opinion. Under normal circumstances I would agree. Not with where we are at just starting a rebuild. We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. But it really doesn't matter now anyway haha.If he thought JG would transfer if he didn't play him, guess what Pruitt would do. He would let him go.
