I didn't hear it but a buddy says he said it on 104.5

He didn’t say that last night. He was acting like it was very possible on 99.1

the DL, aside from Gooden, it's just unknown.

DL is unknown. But again, it isn’t like we have a lot to upgrade over.

I think schedule eases the year. The team will not be that much better, but due to the opponents, and possibly an OC upgrade. We should net 2-3 more wins

Tuttle, Phillips and Johnson were good, not great..... would have been better had we had 3-4 more just like them that we could rotate more regularly.

Bailey starts as a freshman, or its a ready to rock Shrout or Mauer who have a year in Freeze's system...10 wins.

I'm not buying his tweet about not reclassifying to '19 either. Hubbs put that out with direct knowledge and wouldn't do so if it weren't a very good possibility. I think they just want to keep it quiet but I'd bet $100 Bailey enrolls this summer and is our starting QB this fall. Unless of course Freeze is able to turn JG into what we all hoped for when he signed. Then we can redshirt Bailey which would be great but I doubt that happens, more likely he plays as a TF.

Are you serious that you think lines full of freshman and undevelooed Jucos are going to be an immediate upgrade?

You can sprinkle in uber talented polished prodigies on veteran lines and be successful, but two lines full of them is not gonna be fun to watch.

I expect very little from the guys already on the team, because I have seen very little that gives me hope that they can be much better.

So you think our coaches are bad then.

yeah, we will still have the same problems on the line of scrimmage.

i think the schedule just lacks the "wow" factor of awful match ups. i mean really, you looked at this schedule this year, and it was pretty easy to find 5 or so easy losses.

next year's schedule...really, it's 3. and it's the 3 anyone would pick.

after that, the schedule looks a lot more competitive given who our opponents are losing........and let's face it, we're going to return a decent amount from this year. experience, development....has to count for something at some point.....hopefully. lol.

Do you think Bailey is ready next year to step in? I think he would be better off with one more year in high school and come as an EE in '20. As much as I would love taking the keys from JG and handing them to Bailey, I don't know if he is physically ready.

We need Kennedy to actually be healthy for a full season for once in his career. If that can happen our OL will improve dramatically with Morris and another year of S&C for the others. Morris, Wright and the other new guys will create much needed competition in practice that will help immensely as well.

And there's Lampley also. I know he may need a little more time for S&C but you never know. Also Lane that has been in the system for a year.

Watch that video I posted last night in his thread, he's ready. Kids 6'5" 225lbs and actually lost some weight and is now more mobile. He's a big dude. Very smart, can read defenses, strong accurate arm, plays in 7A in GA, he's been a top QB since junior high school, he has a personal QB coach, been preparing for this for a long time...he's ready.

Doubt this happens. Being able to build his class was a huge pulling point for him, and I think he stays in 2020 to build up that group.
