Not sure if this is what he was thinking of but Radford was women only until the early 70’s. Pro: still to this day a great girl to guy ratio due to the historical status. Con: if you take advantage of that ratio you’re probably going to end up with a need to see a doctor.

Why does everyone think Tucker leaving will lead to all their defensive recruits to jump ship? I'm sure it effects some but overall Smart is still the one calling the plays

Isn't there someone who lives in Thailand on here? Just saw the story Clay Travis shared where a ten foot python latched on to a guy's tallywackwer while he was on the throne. Yikes.

I just did the research and saw that they started admitting men in 1972. I have an elderly relation by marriage who taught there long ago before beginning a long career at MTSU and in all her reminiscences I got the impression that it was a ladies' school. The history of Radford looks similar to that of Belmont.

Dude? You nailed that pretty well...twss. But seriously, I respect our established insiders but they sometimes stretch the boundaries of what they COULD know with their contacts. Deer one time floated that Justin Martin wouldn’t finish his time here...how could any of his sources know the FUTURE? Short answer they couldn’t and Martin was a disappointment performance wise, but squeezed out every drop of eligibility. Notorious RPP declared that Brett Kendrick would start at LT or RT based on his (Kendrick’s) “experience” over Hall and Richmond which amounted to one redshirt year and a year he couldn’t see the field over a true freshman human turnstile Coleman Thomas and a former walk-on without a functioning knee and my last and most recent example, our revered (deservedly) and frequently self-exiled LWS, who had lunch with “someone who would know” and sprung for the tip in exchange for knowledge of Chryst winning the starter’s spot. When getting inside scoops, respect but verify.

After the Barnes hire, I found myself on a sudden “vacation” (something to do with previously mentioned Notorious RPP 😉) and with equally unplanned free time, I ventured onto the (former?) Longhorns board Shaggy Bevo. Declared my affiliation immediately and with no troll intent whatsoever, congratulated those fans on their rockstar hire and our gratitude on making Barnes available. Got a litany of Butch level hate and allegations and how our standards must be laughable. Then honestly I had a little fun before explaining that Shaka Smart was a legit hire and prolly start of something big 🤣, but the Vols were bleeding and whatever the win total he was what we NEEDED. Made their horde go apeshizz and saw calls for a permaban and that was my one and only foray on another team’s message board.
