Once again. Change the number and stop trying to replace
If what Geronimo posted is accurate, it actually creates immediate tension to the story. Ingenuous and should be an interesting twist. At least something new to the story and who knows...maybe she's a double agent and he kills her and reclaims his rightful title among the MI-12

I'll agree, while SS won me over with having to do away with Bond for the number to available, some of the comments seem drenched in deeper issues than fictional movie character storyline.😅

007 notwithstanding, it's appropriation. I predict that it will bite the makers.

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC. – Could N’Faly Dante be the game changing pick-up for a high-major program for next season? Chances look more than likely as the five-star center has the option to reclassify into the 2019 class in the coming weeks and he will have plenty of suitors to choose from.

“I haven’t really been thinking much about it. I really don’t,” he said about making the move year up and into the 2019 class. “I have just been focused on playing right now. I don’t really know. It is not that we are not trying to go, but if I can go, I will go.”
Dante just took an official visit to Kentucky a few weeks ago and, earlier this year, was on the campuses at LSU and Oregon, as all three have a chance to land Dante, regardless of whether he chooses to reclassify or not. He says Iowa State and Tennessee are also involved.

Kentucky: “It was good there. We talked about some things and some of the things that I want and need to know. They said that I can go whenever I want to go.”

LSU: “Any time that I visit there, the coaches and the players, they are always together. They play together and play hard.”

Oregon: “They are all just good schools to me but the team out there, they all play well together. Every time you see the team, they are all together.”

WHAT'S NEXT & RIVALS' REACTION

Dante touched further on the dilemma in making the move into the 2019 class. “I feel like I can play but I feel like it is all about school but I don’t think about it right now,” he said. “I might go back to high school, but I don’t really know yet.”
One of the primary hold-ups is whether Dante can qualify for college academically this fall. If he does , then the move into 2019 is likely.

Why is Dante such a priority? He is one of the best shot blockers that has been found within the high school landscape within the past five years. Standing close to 7-foot tall and with a 7-foot-6 wingspan, Dante is an instinctive and high-motored defender that is quick off of his feet around the basket and has progressively evolved into an offensive threat that can score inside and out.
His trip to Kentucky went well, by all accounts, and while Iowa State and Tennessee are also involved, the feeling is that LSU and Oregon are slightly ahead of the rest. Look for a reclassification decision to be made in the coming weeks and if he does, a commitment will come shortly thereafter.

The thing that’s more annoying than anything is the lack of new ideas. Feels like half of movies these days are remakes of old ones.

Heard this discussed on radio a while back. You have a built in audience who already knows something about the movie before watching. Whether it's a book turned into a movie, a sequel, or a remake, you have people who are familiar with it. Original movies don't do well anymore, and I think the numbers tend to bear that out. $$$$$$

When more than half the population watches reality TV, what do you expect. We are an intellectually lazy society. How many hours do we sit on a message board waiting for a teenage kid to commit to our favorite school.
With that said, remakes will continue because they are geared towards Adults that saw the movies when they were kids. The nostalgia affect. Kids have short attention spans.

The Westgate Las Vegas Superbook on Sunday released its college football futures, and it has set Tennessee's over/under total for regular-season wins at 6.5 and given the Vols 100-to-1 odds to win the SEC — the joint-fourth-worst odds in the league level with Kentucky and ahead of only Arkansas, Vanderbilt and Ole Miss.

Reasonable. I really like that line myself. I have figured all offseason that 6 or 7 wins are equally likely. That said, gun to my head, I would bet the over and pray JG stays healthy all season, we get Trey back, and Solomon eligible. And avoid catastrophic injuries. Need quite a bit to not go wrong for us, but 7 wins seems well within grasp if we can avoid all the bad things.

I expect people who make $100,000,000 movies to be less lazy than half of society?

Can you share those numbers? Looking back to 2016 it appears many of the top grossing movies were originals. Interested to see what numbers you’re using

If Bovada has the same line, I’ll be taking the over on that.

Exactly. Half of those are not remakes.

You said originals don’t do well anymore

Anything involving comic books has a built in audience and is not "original." Incredibles, Deadpool, Jurassic World, and Mission Impossible are all sequels. The Grinch is a true remake.

All of these movies are either based on a book or a prior story. Nothing original. You apparently didn't read my prior post.

This makes zero sense to me. So a whole genre can’t be classified as original?

So are no sports movies original because of Moneyball or The Blind Side? Baseball has a built in audience so no baseball movies are original?

I guess now I see why your definition of “nothing is original” haha

Edit: I think we might be viewing remakes differently. I can see your side but I was meaning more towards exact remakes (Ghost Busters, Jumanji, Lion King, etc)

I figured that was the case. I am talking about truly original movies. Anything to do with a comic book or a superhero is not original. Then, you have tons of sequels that are just based off prior story lines. You don't have "A Beautiful Mind" or "Gladiator" or "Avatar" (which I never saw) anymore that are hugely popular original movies.

How is gladiator an original when it's based on actual people, such as Avidius Cassius, Spartacus and the obvious with emporers?
