There's a reason no one kicks onside kicks like that, and that's the reason.

Way harder to make the second hop bounce high in the air. The kickers aren't doing it that way to challenge themselves lol.

I saw that and wondered how that could be allowed since it defeats the purpose of an onside kick. They will have to rewrite that rule if they want to allow that as part of the game.

Only works if the ball goes into the air immediately after being kicked into the ground. It wouldn't work for the onside kick in the FL game bc the ball bounced more than once. Smart play by the kid and/or staff that understood the rule but most onside kicks bounce multiple times.

Wish this would have happened the week before UF so then all Bru would have had to do was wave his arm and all of VN wouldn’t have almost had a panic attack

Or does this rule not apply if it’s an obvious onside kick situation?

Here’s what I liked most about beating LSU: we made the small, smart plays winning teams make, which we haven’t done in 15 years.

We downed it inside the 5 on a punt just a couple drives after LSU screwed up that very thing and let the ball get into the endzone.

Hooker took what the defense gave him, picked up a easy first at the sticks with his legs and got out of bounds without getting hit.

He picked up that 4th down with the shovel pass to Fant while announcers were questioning us going for it.

Pretty sure those were all just in the first half.

I just got home after a long day of helping my dad split and stack firewood and sweating my balls off. Took a nice hot shower and I’m laying on the couch catching up on VN, watching all these videos of experts talking about the game and Tennessee in the matchup coming up next week vs Bama, seeing all the tweets about how good we are…And it’s bringing tears to my eyes.

What we’ve been through and where we are right now. College game day coming back for the second time this year and Bama looking bad last night against Texas A&M. We’re a possible playoff team?!

Just unbelievable where we are right now in year two under Josh Heupel. It’s gonna be tough this week to focus on anything else besides Tennessee football. GO VOLS!!!!

I'd be willing to bet Bianca Belair caught the attention of recruits. Lots of football players at all levels, even the NFL, watch wrestling. Wrestling is actually a popular second career for football players.
