I thought about that but I thought we also looked clunky in that game as well. I know some of it is the ridiculous standard they’ve set.
Clunky? What in the hell is wrong with you people..🤦‍♂️..we scored 44 on them...🤦‍♂️

You guys have already forgotten what "clunky" looks like...plus, good defenses...you know..play good defense..🤦‍♂️

Just enjoy this awesome season one week at a time. It will all work itself out in the end. Most importantly, let’s not lose sight that this is year 2.

A lot can change week to week. For instance, LSU loses this weekend the narrative will shift dramatically. Alabama will be one LSU loss from winning the west after they beat Ole Miss.

Why not? We never would have started #1 if we hadn't blown out LSU and UK. That is being lost in the discussion. And we're still the top 1-loss team. We're being given all the cushion we should be allowed...maybe we deserve a tad more and you could argue that, but pollsters and others will always bow to the almighty W-L line. But SoS and margin is why we're still the best 1-losser.

And make no mistake, we're nothing but a 1-pt loss by any team not named UGA from jumping up to #3/#4. We're GOOD SaS 😁
😂 I’m not the one that needs convincing though. I think that’s stupid and wouldn’t take place unless they were trying to get other conferences in.

Yeah....PAWL doesn't control anything lmao.

The committee is all that matters and they've shown us a TON of respect from the get go.

We good.
Really...I had no idea..thanks for letting me know Pawl was getting a vote..

They are all framing a "Tennessee not good enough" narrative imo. I hope the teams that need to lose, lose and get out of the way so there is no question about it.

Bruce Feldman says name he keeps hearing for Auburn is Lane Kiffin. Thinks if Auburn offers him the job it will be extremely tough for him to turn them down. Believes Kiffin is their safest bet to a sure thing coaching wise.
Is auburn that much better than ole miss? Recruiting, money, etc...all seems pretty similar to me

Just listened to Golesh's post-UGA Q&A and it really sounded like he believes that our issues were pretty much pre-snap penalties and execution. He complimented their players, of course, but I got the distinct feeling that he didn't think we were out talented by UGA but that we were out played, especially in terms of not being disciplined enough prior to the snap. (Even when I was watching it live, I knew x drive was going nowhere after a false start bc we have struggled all year regardless of the opponent whenever there's a false start on the drive. I think our offense is either hyper sensitive to plays building upon one another or maybe our players are. Regardless those types of penalties stalling drives completely has been such an issue all season that whenever they happen we might as well hand the ball over because the possession rarely goes anywhere after one).

At any rate after listening to him, there's no question in my mind that the staff firmly believes we can beat UGA if we execute AND that UGA really didn't do anything schematically that cracked the code of our offense and stopped it -- they simply played very good football while we failed to execute on our own end. I came away feeling like he believes that if we erase those penalties and keep doing what we've been doing that our offense will absolutely work fine against UGA.

Obviously, I want us to make the playoffs and get our rematch but until I listened to Golesh my thinking was that just making the playoffs is a win for the program (don't worry about the outcome becacuse there's still a big talent disparity between our roster and theirs). After listening to him, I believe we can win that rematch. At least as far as the offense is concerned, our coaches don't think talent is an issue (they would never say that outright even if they thought it was but it's clear that Golesh doesn't even think it's an issue at all).

Ole Miss stadium holds 64K and Auburn stadium holds 87K. Auburn’s donors have notoriously purchased the best recruits. Winning comes easier on the Plains. Auburn with 3 Heisman trophies and Ole Miss zero.

Yes clunky or less effective than we looked in some other games. While there are several things wrong with me, I think this opinion is down the list. For example Alabama has a better defense than Kentucky but we looked better against them. I haven’t forgotten about the bad years but why would we compare our current offense to years past? I even acknowledged that some of it is the standard they have set. I didn’t say the offense sucked but just that it didn’t look as good as other games while he was out. I really think Hendon may feel pressure to look to him first when he’s playing out of an obligation to get Ced numbers to get him drafted higher. I’m probably overthinking it.
