Unless it includes a 2-loss B1G runner-up...USC 2 loss...TCU loses...I mean they would need absurd happenings...regardless Clemson at #4 would mean us at #3.

So massive improvement on both sides of the ball in year 2, and from a talent standpoint we might be 2 good cycles behind the bulk of the SEC still.
Man GTFO with this BS. You two have your back and forth if you want, but don't start slinging insults like that. It is well proven that the female posters who are regulars in here are far less argumentative and sensitive than the majority. So don't disrespect them to infer being female makes someone less than.
I do think the Vols fell too far after their loss for being a No. 1.Translation: Why did Tennessee fall out of the top 4 with a loss, but Georgia wouldn't, should they lose? It's a fair argument.
Not really. UT fell out of the top 4 because of comparatives to the other four that stayed in the top 4. You had 4 undefeated teams and a 1-loss UT. You can kind of understand UT falling to 5. Most UT fans discussed this stating immediately after our loss.Translation: Why did Tennessee fall out of the top 4 with a loss, but Georgia wouldn't, should they lose? It's a fair argument.
Hurd quit multiple times. Walked out, went home. Coaches went to Nashville to talk him back. Having to negotiate with a player to return is seldom a good situation. Demands are made; so are promises. It causes issues with teammates, hurts team chemistry, the initial problems don't go away and new ones arise. It was very unfortunate for all parties and not handled well on either side. It wouldn't happen today. UT wouldn't put up with it, and the disgruntled player would promptly portal out.
