Good question.
Is the general consensus from those who follow women’s bball closely that we should rotate coaches every 4 years when they’re getting to Sweet 16s?
The people that consider a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA tournament a strong performance for a high quality basketball program (men or womens) baffle me. All that means is that you won 2 tournament games against 2 teams that you were heavily favored to beat. That's nothing. The goal for elite programs should be Final Four appearances and national championships. The first game that should really even be considered a potential serious battle is the Elite 8.Pat didn't measure success by the Sweet 16, and that shouldn't be the measure of success for this program. Do you think Bama considers success finishing in the top 16? Pat was every bit as dominant as Saban or Bryant. The standard is the NC, and UT has the resources to get there.
Holly 2.0 is an awful, and frankly lazy, comparison. Holly and Kelly are both flawed coaches. But their strengths and weaknesses are completely different. If you know what you are looking for, the team has made some definite strides this season. Last season was difficult to watch and I was not sure if it would get better at this point. Some big picture structural stuff has improved quite a bit. It can be deceiving because of how poorly the season started. But the last month has shown some glimmer of hope. I think Kelly can continue to take steps to get to the next level of competing at the top again. I would not have said that last season. First thing that HAS TO HAPPEN though is for her to bring in an "offensive coordinator" assistant coach. We needed to be harder to guard with the type of action that we use on offense. This staff is in GREAT shape with some of the best talent in the country (some of which is in Tennessee) in the next few classes.

Got some news today that shook me a bit. My son, who is 40, has to have a heart procedure. His doctor said he presents with paroxysmal SVT that is quite symptomatic. It's my understanding they're gonna do a catheter ablation procedure and it's successful in 95% of patients. I'm praying that he's in the 95% group.
His doctor is a cardiac electrophysiologist and I'm praying that he's a good one. They're trying to get him set for the procedure as quickly as possible. I'll be heading to New Hampshire as soon as he gives me the date for the procedure. Here's hoping everything turns out OK.

As someone who doesn't follow women's bball why do you give a **** what the actual fans want from the program? KJH has made 1 sweet 16 and it took a desperation 3 from Puckett to beat Belmont on our home court to get there
But the reason the actual fans that watch women's bball are discussing KJH being on a hot seat is that game to get into the Sweet Sixteen had less than 5500 people in attendance.

Thank you BuddyGreat procedure and, like you say, highly successful. I had it done. Unfortunately, I was one of the 5%. Mine is better but still happen less frequently. I have found drinking water and expertise really helps. I hope your son is one of the 95% and he can go back to a “normal” life. I feel certain that will be the case. I am praying that happens.

My dad had an ablation done recently, and has felt better than he had in years.Got some news today that shook me a bit. My son, who is 40, has to have a heart procedure. Lol why you mad? It’s out of curiosity.

And your last point is a fan problem, not a coach problem. Team playing for a Sweet 16 and no one showed up?
