I hope we have an away game in Austin in the first year they are in the SEC. Would love to visit that city and see Nico vs Arch.

It gets a lot of hate for being ‘weird’ but Austin is fun as hell. Really hope we do a home and home back to back years

With us going to a 9 game schedule I hope that we finally do away with playing fcs games. They are boring and quite useless for us in the regular season anyways. Although, I wouldn’t mind if we did something where instead of a intra-squad scrimmage at the end of spring practice we play an fcs school instead. It wouldn’t count towards the season obviously, but it would be a lot more interesting then seeing a scrimmage

Yup.

Look at NFL salary ratios. About 20:1 in favor of the players. That's value in a (mostly free) market.

Yet in college, even with NIL, I'm guessing it's still 1:10 at worst, maybe 2:1 AT BEST.

And the fans pay directly for it...

It is not the same for about a million good reasons. I follow Tennessee because I am a Tennessean...not because of some dude that plays for UT.

I am barely tolerating this mercenary as it is....nobody forces these people to play sports.

Did they say they were going to do pods, or just each team has 3 permanent opponents, and the rest of the schedule rotates?

If each team has 3 permanent opponents, wouldn’t that technically be pods even if they dont call it that?

I hot to see all the 80s superstars...but sadly missed out on the 70s guys. I didn't really start watching BB until 82.
