That was unbearable.

Descartes walks into a bar. Bartender asks him if he wants a beer. He replies, "I think not".

And disappears.

BOONE, N.C. (WBTV) – Police said they have identified a person of interest in the theft of a pair of exotic men’s underwear from a store in Boone.

Some people in here hate success, national championships and expectations. You can be reasonable about a rebuild and also eventually expect to win a national championship. Not this year but starting 2024 season the roster should be above 50% BCR

Does it matter what level we’ve cheated at? Either we’ve done it or we havent. And for the record I think that Nick Saban is a far more ethical leader of men than Phil Fulmer or Butch Jones. He’s also a better football coach than both of them combined. I’m so excited for Heupel and think that great things are ahead. Tennessee brought everything that’s happened in the last 20 years on ourselves. It’s not because Nick Saban cheated. I don’t like the man but if he had come to Tennessee in 2007 I would have relished every one of those titles.
WTH is this Nick Saban love fest? You honestly believe Bama hasn't cheated?? Either you're a Bammer homer or incredibly naive. Bama had one of the most sophisticated cheating systems ever seen prior to NIL, and it's only a matter of time before they adjust that cheating to the new landscape. From paying players to covering up indiscretions, Bama has been a well-oiled machine. And yeah, I'm envious because they've gotten away with it. And I'm mad Kirby was able to take that system to Georgia and succeed. And I'm even madder we had to hire the Gomer Pyle of the bunch who was too stupid to know how to do it.

The only thing I agree with you on is the excitement for Heupel.

If the O line is a liability it will have a very negative impact on how well Joe can perform. That sh!t needs to be cleaned up.
I’m hoping the coaches purposefully have been stress testing our OL. Obviously now is the best time to learn about our deficiencies and figure out how to best mitigate negative plays (line combination, who struggles with what type of blitz pickup in pass pro, etc).

LOL, I didn't call you a name. I said you were naïve. If you think Saban hasn't been buying players at an exorbitant level since he got there, you are naive. If he's that great of a coach why does he need to purchase players? Why does he have to have such a talent advantage? Why is he against NIL? Why does he pressure for rules changes that he has difficult defending? He's a coward and a cheater. Have we cheated, sure. Have we cheated at the level Saban has, not even close.
Tried and failed. We hired the dumbass of the bunch.

Why would we all of a sudden have a Oline problem? Yes we lost a few, but the others now have another year under their belt, 2-3 deep has matured and hopefully improved, and we added at least one or more in the portal... We might not be at quite the level, but hopefully they are mostly referring to unproven as being the issue...

You might want to see yourself out of the forum/take a break for a spell brother... this is bad.

My post was in response to the having superior talent part. No idea about the cheating. I can speculate but not prove. Saban has had superior talent in college. That's not an opinion, it's a fact. Whether that's from being an excellent recruiter, CEO, cheater, one or two or all, the fact he's had more talent still stands.

And, yes, Spurrier/Rhule/Kiffen/Saban etc were mediocre in the pros because the talent is much more even than in CFB. Also, could have something to do with being able to intimidate younger adults. Not gonna work in the NFL when your stars are making millions and may not work much longer in CFB with the way NIL is going.

how do you think he got that 3-deep superior talent every single year and kept it $$$$$$$$$

In no way is acknowledging that Saban, based on results is a great head coach 280 wins and over 80% winning percentage is no easy task. Do I also think he's cheated at a high level, absolutely. A great coach takes the talent they got and makes them better while also making them perform at a higher level than their talent allows, through scheme, philosophy and everything else in their power.

Josh Heupel is already without a question in my mind one of the best offensive coaches. If he can sustain success here and continue to identify and hire great coaches around him then I think he'll also be thought of as a great head coach in 20 years. And will I also think he likely cheated to get a high level of success, yeah.
