Utah being down to their 3rd string qb isn’t much of an excuse given the fact they knew for 2+ weeks that would likely start. If they lose the game because of that, then their coaches didn’t do good enough of a job preparing him and getting a game plan in place for him

It’s not always about the game-plan. It’s about talent. I have no idea how good he is, but the 3rd stringer is a walk-on. The other option is a freshman.

Cam Rising tore his ACL in the Rose Bowl, and the timeline was always going to be close. The backup got hurt last week, and it sounds like he is out for a bit. So, they are left with a junior walk-on and a freshman.

Heupel has done a really solid job as HC so far. Again I had expectations for him to be a Lincoln Riley lite… all offense and no defense. A step below at around 8-4 annually with recruiting somewhere in between 15-25th yearly. He has proven to be better than that obviously in just year 2! We’ll see if/when he can take the next step, looking promising on the recruiting side! A top 10 class for 23’. Another Top 10 for 24’. That’s how you build the depth. Been awhile at Tennessee! Plus he’s a likable person

Seems like every time Tennessee would get momentum in recruiting next we’d enter the season and crumble. Repeat cycle coach fired etc. Two straight top 10’s while going 11-2 is good work. Looks like Tennessee avoided the crisis that would happen previously

I agree expansion to me is better.... Tennessee needs their own team not some refugee from another city....
