Just sad to see a young man with so much talent throw it all away just to rob a friggin’ liquor store. So many high school kids across the country desperately wish they had Arik Gilbert’s talent.

Seeing as his career in Lincoln is probably over, his best hope to play at the FBS level now is that Deion is willing to take a chance on him. Maybe some FCS is still willing to take a chance, but that’s no guarantee either.

Hopefully all the talented kids living on the fence see Arik Gilbert’s situation and take the steps to turn their lives around. Take advantage of the gifts you’re blessed with.

The only problem with pellet grills is you don't get as heavy a smoke flavor as with true smoking unless you have super good pellets. The pit boss ones didn't give the food any smoke flavor at all when I used them. Lumberjack is the only one I've found (I'm sure there are others though) to give close to real smoking flavor. Hard to find though.

If you want to add oomph, get the smoking tubes and fill them with your preference of wood chips. I sometimes soak the chips in beer beforehand.

I didn't. I wound up just not responding after he fed me the line about not buying the listing and instead going through Fedex (whatever that was supposed to mean). He was pushing wayyyy too hard too fast (probably to keep me from thinking about what he was actually asking me to do) and even though I really wanted what he had listed, it didn't add up. It sucks but even with all that it felt very much like if I sent this dude money I wouldn't even get the bad .10 cent substitute product you get from WISH sellers. lol.

Oh and you're spot on about paypal. I love using them. They've saved my bacon more than once and will even step in with trusted retailers if there's a dispute. I prefer using them to just about anything.

A lot of positive press for Tellander and Carter - and when this group of lb’s were being recruited I was thinking Smith would be the bell cow of the group. Those 3 may end up being the best group of lb’s we’ve recruited in a class in a long long time.

Looks delicious. I grill a lot, smoke stuff often. I only have charcoal for both, but gonna get either a gas, or pellet smoker soon. I want to do brisket, and need something I can control the temperature better.

I just got a masterbilt gravity smoker and that thing is great. Done ribs and a butt so far. Good charcoal and wood taste. I’ve done burgers and steak on them too. They weren’t as good as cooking over coals imo. But solid smoker though
