I don’t know if I’d call it that. More of a half truth, partial truth more appropriately. Ya they definitely weren’t two time defending champ uga, but to say you (Kelly) don’t know why they thought that is hilarious when you literally said just as much. Awful. How about call better plays and convert 2 4th and 1s to be up 31-14 at the half instead of 17-14. How about establish some resemblance of a run game to wear down the defense, so Daniels doesn’t have to make every throw in the book to come out with a win. How about show up on defense with your many playmakers and don’t let florida state get so confident that they impose their will en route to a 21 point 4th quarter lead.

Kelly sucks, plain and simple. Also, FSU now has a clear path to the playoffs if they beat Clemson in a couple weeks.

-home primetime game for duke
-season opener
-duke has also been on the right track and has one of the most underrated coaches in the country

People can cut out statements here and there in a press conference. But to be fair, in the first minute and a half of his statements, he said 4 times! that it falls on him as the coach and on the development of his players. We love quotes though.

I doesn’t matter how many times he says it’s his fault if he then says anything else. Point is, he said they’re not the team they thought they were, and that’s entirely on him and it’s entirely unacceptable if you have sec champ and national title aspirations.

Why do you feel the need to tell someone else to relax when there was nothing in their post to indicate that they were not just having a discussion?

And Milton was actually REALLY good in all facets of the passing game. Are you guys expecting a QB to be 100% on all throws, especially deep balls? Do you not remember Hookers' misses in mid-to-long range? (By the way, you may want to look up the average completion percentage for intermediate and long attempts. I believe the Denver Broncos was about 21% and 10% respectively a few years ago. And that's NFL.)

Hint for you, amigo, you can't accuse others of over-reacting when you type stuff like the bolded above.

Yes it does. He said, “we clearly are not the football team I thought we were,” and then goes on to say actually 6 times! that it is his responsibility and they need to develop better.

Look, I don’t like the guy. But coaches can’t win whatever they say. People like the truth, but when you lose, people don’t like the truth. Bottom line is if you win, you can say whatever you want.

Funny thing about 2017 we actually outgained them. The scoreboard made it look worse than it was.

Really hits me in the feels when Condredge puts his hand on Joe's shoulder in a blessing and then yields the stage.

The first Vols game I ever saw in person, as a little kid, was Holloway's first season: the bowl win over LSU. Had my cherished Condredge t-shirt on.

Not sure when people are going to stop wringing their hands with this offense in Heupel’s hands. If this defense continues to improve and play lights out and special teams cleans up our first game miscues, we are playoff team caliber. The national media and opponents had better take note.

We don't know what the future looks like but UVA's supposed strength was the DL and they were abused. The OL ate all game. Big for that unit. I do agree that the Bama's and UGA's are a different world though. Let's see if they can do it to UF.

After seeing our DL perform on Saturday, I think it wasn’t a matter of our OL struggling, but the fact they were practicing against an elite DL. Only bodes well for the future as iron sharpens iron.

Georgia game will probably be our classic orange and white, they usually wear them for our top rival games to promote our brand. I feel like it will be a 3:30 on CBS game since they have first dibs over sec games this year. We will probably breakout darkmode vs A&M or USCjr

Because he doesn’t care, and I’m sure he has the powers that be sweep all this stuff under the rug like Saban does at Bama. The only difference is Saban has control over all the police and none of this stuff ever comes out.

I assume you had an issue with Orgeron as well? Mike Gundy has a pretty thick Southern accent and lingo, oh also a mullet. That's beneath the position of head coach at a major institution right?

Deion grew up in the projects in Fort Myers in a broken home. His friends sold drugs and joined gangs while he played sports.

Condredge grew up with both parents, his mom worked at the NASA flight center in Huntsville and they prioritized education. He came to TN because his mom wanted him to get a degree instead of go to the MLB.

Language has more to do with where you come from than your intelligence level or capabilities. Those two men grew up in different places, different times, and difference cirmcumstances. They aren't a good comparison at all. The only think they have in common is their skin color.

He did do that. One time (later, I think) patting himself on the chest (maybe he got the idea from Mack Brown's patronizing pats ). But the hot dog remark will live on as a classic Slingblade moment.

I love Beamer's exaggerated gesticulations and the way he scratches his chest and shoulders continually, rubs his goofy head (the reach-overs especially), and his goofy facial expressions throughout the press conference. Would make good gifs.

Looking at the Heisman stats starting out... Imo if Milton has a good game vs APSU next week and then goes to Florida and leads Tennessee to a dominant win by going 24/30 for 300 and 3 TD's through the air and add one running he shoots past everyone to top of the list.... Go Vos...

He's starting out behind the 8-ball unfortunately. One catch by Keyton and he'd be right in the thick.

201 passing yards doesn't cut it these days. But 270+ does. Hopefully he can make it up, but I hate that drop. Makes things look artifically "less great" than they actually were by Joe.
