In defense, the long throw into the endzone was flat. If he'd put some touch under that and led the receiver to the back of the endzone, it would have been a touchdown.Unless Milton is perfect, people will complain. That throw that Keyton dropped had every NFL franchise drooling. I have no doubt Milton will be successful here, and at the next level.
Just look at week 1 and 2, CBS game is big 10.i looked that up the other day. CBS had contract thru 2023 as far as I can tell
ESPN-SEC deal finally official, will go into effect in 2024

But that's the thing about the deep ball. They aren't supposed to be a high percentage ball.
And people seem to have romanticized Hooker. Again... He had periods that he was just plain flat and inaccurate. But this offense is good enough that QBs don't have to be perfect to put up huge stats and a lot of points.
He said they were going to beat FS then they looked unprepared physically in the 2nd half, and coaches were out coached. Then he made another stupid comment. Then the fans that were mad because of how they lost after being assured of a win jumped on. Yeah!!That was a small snippet of what he said….. he said he took personal responsibility for the loss two or three times…. Fans are nitpicking and mad bc they lost.
This is the last season CBS is contracted with the SEC, so CBS will still have its pick of the top game each week. next season is when we will go to having the top sec matchup on ABC Primetime
I'm curious, do you talk the same around friends as you do when, say, giving a speech, or talking for business? I'm just curious because I know I don't. How I speak depends on my audience. But maybe that's just a me thing. And I'm not downing Deion, because honestly, I don't care how he speaks. I'm just suggesting he talks the way he does because of where he's from is a little disingenuous. That's entirely true if he's talking to friends, but he hasn't gotten to where he is without knowing how to speak professionally. Deion has carefully cultivated his image over the years. The guy is smart. He speaks the way he speaks because it's part of his image. It's how he relates to his players and recruits and projects himself as "one of them". And that's not bad. At least not if it works for him. JMOI assume you had an issue with Orgeron as well? Mike Gundy has a pretty thick Southern accent and lingo, oh also a mullet. That's beneath the position of head coach at a major institution right?
Deion grew up in the projects in Fort Myers in a broken home. His friends sold drugs and joined gangs while he played sports.
Condredge grew up with both parents, his mom worked at the NASA flight center in Huntsville and they prioritized education. He came to TN because his mom wanted him to get a degree instead of go to the MLB.
Language has more to do with where you come from than your intelligence level or capabilities. Those two men grew up in different places, different times, and difference cirmcumstances. They aren't a good comparison at all. The only think they have in common is their skin color.
Tony Elliott had a similaresque statement “Just competing today was a victory.” I know with the tragedy that he gets a pass, but it could be worded different and convey the same message imo.View attachment 575879
Gator fans invoking memories of Butch and Dooley.
He's a big fan of blini and borscht, and keeps his vodka on the exterior window sill. Also, I hear that as a communist, @Jackcrevol does not like biscuits.
I agree with you but I don't think its disingenuous to say that his lingo is "him." If he were to speak like Coloradans, that would be no different than Brian Kelly's fake Southern accent.I'm curious, do you talk the same around friends as you do when, say, giving a speech, or talking for business?
