Alright my sports betting enthusiasts, Ohio opens up on Jan 1. Which site is the best? I see sign up offers for Fanduel, Draft Kings and Barstool running currently enticing me to sign up now. @Enki_Amenra
Fanduel has the best app. Draft King's has the best promotions.

Here is my referral link, if you decide to use draft kings. I have one for fanduel too, I can share it if you want, but maybe someone else has a referral link they can give you for Fanduel. I don't want to hoard all the referrals, 😆.

Anyway, You get $100 & I get $100, plus you get like a 20-50% deposit bonus.

Did you see any improvement in the play of the secondary this year?

Leach was an awesome personality and his stories will be told forever, but let’s be real - he’s not a hall of fame coach

Not as a head coach but as a coach's coach and shaper of offenses yes, he is. If he had landed the Tennessee job (say our AD had bothered calling the BOT) he'd have had those 3 wins. The schools he's been at have all been bad programs historically and he's raised all of them above their average.

When you have two of the brightest stars, future HoF coaches in your tree, - Riley and Heupel are both headed that direction - and a long list of others then yeah, you're HOF. They may have a category for this already but if not they should make one. His influence on the game was immense. We're only now getting to see it though because Leach never landed a cherry job but Riley and Josh did. And while both call different offenses, Leach's influence is in their cores.

If that's the same as the recent story I've seen, it was a Great Pyrenees. Truly a bad *** and wonderful breed. You will never find a more loyal breed. A bit headstrong, with lots of character. But so courageous, and amazing heart.

The story is that among its many wounds, it had about an 8 inch wide strip of skin riped off its back.

Praying for peace and comfort that surpasses all understanding for the Leach and Mississippi State families. He was as much an innovator as he was a story teller. College football has lost a giant.

Made me smile 😊 and that should be our goal in life
Producing more smiles on peoples faces than tears.

It's not all on the players when your passing D yards allowed ranks #127. Candy and Arky were the only two in the SEC in the same range. We were the SEC's version of UNC in the ACC.

We have a lot of players that a lot of SEC schools wanted who have better D's and secondary coaches/DCs. The talent was back there. Many SEC schools had lower rated roster talent and had better passing defenses.

There is a factor to consider that says more passing yards are a result of having to defense more plays due to our O being tempo that gives each team more possessions. The exception to that argument is that we give up more plays per drive than normal because we could not get off the field. Our rush game D was #19. They also had more plays to defense than norm. Yet, they got it done.

The scheme of getting to the passer quickly to help on the back end did not work well enough. It appeared at times that DC Banks even forgot that plan, which caused part of the problem.

Our O coaches were exponentially better at their job than the DC and secondary coach were at theirs. Our DL/LB/OLB coaches were better on the defensive side of the ball, but did not get enough done due to scheme and play calls to help the passing defense. It's in the stats.

It's really that simple. That says if Heup stands pat with D-staff another season they better perform better as coaches, which they may. Will see. I would not be betting my career on it, but that's Heup's to decide and he's the man.
The defense rush attempts against was middle of the pack….. we faced the second most pass attempts in the country.

I will answer this although you probably won’t like my answer…. I consider it inconclusive….. Here are the reasons…. We had more DBs riding bikes(or less) during camp then practicing…. Thought the defense looked improved in the Pittsburgh game…. We were ultra aggressive with Burrell on the field and was rolling help to our younger cbs…. Then DBs started dropping like flies to the point we had to play safeties at corner and use a walk on in a key moment against Bama…. I do think they had some really good moments like the Kentucky game and some absolute trash moments like SC….. I’m praying for health and progress this off season…. I also want Santa to give us a true number one corner whether it is a transfer or one of these freshman stepping up.

Just a heads up on the student directory thing… high school seniors are in the student directory of all the schools they got applied and got accepted into so if you find an uncommitted guy in our student directory, it doesn’t mean he’s a lock to come here
Other than, hopefully, Arion Carter tomorrow, are we expecting any other high school commits? I thought Carter was it?
