Ive felt that way for a couple weeks now. The target gets scoffed at. But if he doesn't he is gambling with his own image by letting Jones continue flap in the wind til the season is over just to trot out a dud with millions going into Neyland as the cherry.

When Jimmy breaks news I have always felt like he is spoon fed from the UTAD. Just my opinion but I've always felt like the big stories he gets are handed to him. Either because they want the news to break or they want him to be the one to break it.

Jimmy takes what is given to him and doesn't try to add his 2 cents to it or read between the lines. He regurgitates the info he is given.

Just my take.

A poster already posted this & I agree with them. My thoughts:

Currie going to let all the dirty laundry air out

Butch will be forced to either resign or be fired with cause and lose his buyout

It’s a good move financially

This is genuinely what I see happening & based on what has transpired, is already happening

To a degree.

He's taking a lot of $#1+ for not pulling the plug at the present and a lot of people are ready to fire him just for that.

Ive given him the benefit of the doubt to this point, because its not about when he fires Jones to me but who he is able to hook. If he's letting the storm come back for another pass he better have an ace in his pocket or the venom that Jones is receiving will turn to him in short order.

Ive heard things are different this time than before. We will soon see.
